Send him to VFL to work on some midfield craft ot something, but he isnt earning his spot.

playing a role really. it's annoying that our forward 50 entries aren't a bit less predictable and/or that he is the only bloke over 195cm in the forward line. We have a first tall and a third tall but no second tall atm, predictable and easy to defend.

Kelly has not been the same since his concussion. He is not a good enough player to be avoiding contact.

I thought this too and who can blame him with the horror stories coming out. But he isn't talented enough to play without putting his body on the line.

It's ultimate an issue of blokes you can trust with ball in hand.

We've only seen a bit of Baldwin, but I like him because when he has it, I feel relaxed that he's probably going to do something sensible with it. Like kick to one of our blokes. Handover to the running receiver in space. You know, footy stuff.

Too many others like Kelly, Hind etc. they go to kick or handball and you feel your soul sweating because you know it's even-money to land in the lap of the opposition or hit one of our blokes in the back of the head or something. They have their own benny hill soundtrack with ball in hand.

I don't think you can describe an incompetent forward line that fails to create space or apply pressure, and then in the same breath claim it's a good mix of personnel.

The only way both can be true is if you think the players are so dumb that they can't do the bare minimum of basic forward craft with a sick coach. In which case I still wonder how you can be happy with dumb personnel...

Either there are absent players, dumb players, or incompetent players.
