Oh, without a doubt, it would have to be YOU!!
But if you were fairdinkum about your football, you shouldn't even be playing in this league. Pull your finger out of your ass, and have a decent crack at the opportunities that are avaliable to you, because at the moment you are pis*ing into the wind.
werribee centrals have the best crop of teenagers coming through.whos the best junior player to play seniors this year??

Seen that dirty bastard clean up poor old Rick Sheehan a few years ago. He was shepherding his coach at the time - Adrian Burns, Sheehan did'nt know if he was Uncle Arthur or Mrs McArthur... Thats my No. 1 HIT....Whilst on the Belmont supporters what about the t-shirts, a good look but a little premature maybe. In regard to their first half behaviour they did get carried away to the point where I overheard them discussing GF celebrations but they got a good lesson in the second half and I am sure they will keep it in check next week. Like the team the supporters must have benefited from the finals experience.
On the game Belmonts first quarter and half was fantastic but when they went in at half time only 4 goals up they must have got nervous because when the game restarted it was like the teams had swapped jumpers.
A defeat like that will have to have shaken their confidence and I cant see them recovering in time to win next week.
Finally for all who saw it where do you rate the bump of Chamberlain on Picket and the other Belmont guy. I put it up as one of the cleanest and best bumps I have seen in country footy.
Nothing dirty about this, she was as clean as a whistle. Fully tucked up, shoulder to shoulder and to cap it off right in front of the punters. Watch out for more next week when we hit the big stage.Seen that dirty bastard clean up poor old Rick Sheehan a few years ago. haha you make me laugh.... im a club man so i play for the clubs future not mine haha.... who are you neways ??
the problem about werribee is that they always nic off come senior time and play in a real league...
same thing happens with bell post hill.
have i left tho??? NOOOOO and i dont intend on leaving some time soon either
i've never cbeen so excited. who wants in on the Haami Army?
Well done to both East and Belmont
Who would have thought that 2 teams who finished outside the 5 in 2006 would be playing off in the 2007 grandfinal. Don't think this would have ever happened in the gdfl before.
I picked east as the premiers after i saw them smash werribee centrals in round 2 so i will stick with them in a very close one. Lets just hope the geelong addy have 6 page spread for the gdfl grandfinal review on monday just like they have done for the bfl today. i bet they don't though
good luck to both teams.
Yea who would of thought. Look what happens when clubs spend money? East Geelong have gone out and to there credit spent a lot of money on quality players they would have at least 10 new players in the seniors from last year. Belmont Lions is a funny one think they get proped up a bit by the league but again good on them. Gallgher or what ever he's name is is a gun. For a little bloke tough as nails. I really don't care who wins but lets hope it's a good hard game and the weather is fine for a few frothers. One that I have heard Ricky Stewart Bruhn have all signed up bush big bucks apparently one certain bloke who use to play at Lara is throwing money around. Any way one more game lets look forward to a great 2008 hopefully the drought is broken.....
As soon as Skrobba signed they were gona make it. Success just seems to follow the great man. Could he get the Essendon job?Well done to both East and Belmont

Seem to remember Skrobba playing in a losing premiership at Bacchus Marsh back in 99 I think. Maybe he could make his way back to the Marsh to secure their first ever flag.As soon as Skrobba signed they were gona make it. Success just seems to follow the great man. Could he get the Essendon job?
Haami played for the opposition that day I think. Marsh have won flags, just not for ages.Seem to remember Skrobba playing in a losing premiership at Bacchus Marsh back in 99 I think. Maybe he could make his way back to the Marsh to secure their first ever flag.
From my sources which are pretty good otoole ,stewart, bruhn, lazzarich, c collins, tatey ,manning and fergusen all going to corio next year.i agree Gallagher is a gun ive only seen him in the finals and he has been the best player in finals ive seen so far. How many stories are floating about those three players otoole stewart and bruhn there going up bush Anakie Corio and theres been rumours about north geelong aswell. A whisper i herd is that anakie offered otoole 20,000 and 10,000 each to stewart and bruhn if that happens there wont be much left to pay all those other contracts they have out there. As we know it doesnt take long for the rumours to start the seasion hasnt even finished.
Thanks for the feedback Hulkster as there have been so many people on this forum discussing how the GDFL is superior to other leagues in the region (exactly zero).I saw the last quarter of the Prelim. I thought Belmont were fantastic. Bannock threw the kitchen sink at them and they responded everytime.
It was the first GDFL game i had seen for a while.
And for anyone who think GDFL is a better standard than the BFL they are horribly wrong. BFL is by far superior. Just ask Haami.
But back onto Belmont. One highlight for me was the sight of Rod Dubbledam running around. I played with him about 10 or so years ago and he was old then. He has played most of his carrer at Belmont and is a legend down there, i would love to see him win a flag. He is one of the nicest blokes in football, and knows his stuff.
Go Belmont, i'm on board.
