Your tears are genuinely delicious, and they have brought me serious joy. Thank you, you illiterate mouth breathing numpty. 😂

I actually posted something reasonable in the Tom Stewart should be banned thread on the Richmond board… saying I felt he should get weeks but the most shocking aspect was the lack of emphasis on care for Dion Prestia.

Often the genuine hard nuts of the AFL like Selfwood/Prestia/Viney etc need protection from themselves…

It was clearly apparent he was going to be unable to continue within 20-30 seconds… stretcher should have been called on and escorted him from the field. Game Stopped etc…

One could actually make the provocative argument that Richmond’s Medical Team might have cost them the W this evening… by delaying his removal (with the concept of him playing on) allowing us to kick a goal in a close game.
I agree with you Dennis. Why wasn’t play stopped? For the safety of the player he should have been stretchered off in case of neck and spine injuries. AlsoGeelong kicked 2? While he was coming off. If you’re a Richmond supporter, don’t get sucky at Geelong, but ask the afl why they pick and chose when to stop a game?

Yeah I was at the game but I didn't take notice of this, who played on Reiwoldt?

Kolo, and smashed him. Unfortunately Kolo also had a couple of very poor moments with ball in hand that detracted from his game, but you can’t fault his effort on Riewoldt.

Ok … there are 2 x debates here. One is that Geelong should play 11 games at home and play home finals there. That’s fine, happy for anyone to have that debate.

But the second point of contention is that under the current fixturing, Cats fans narrative is that Geelong is at a disadvantage to other clubs. This is simply not true. Geelong have an advantage over 17 other teams across the 22 games they play under CURRENT fixturing.

So you want 11 home games and that’s no worries, it will increase your current advantage and I’d barrack for that as a Cats fan too. If that’s just your good luck then that’s fine, it’s for the AFL to decide.

But it’s just amusing that it seems Cats fans think they’re hard done by in H&A currently, which is just not factual.

What delusional fantasy.

That’s the conundrum with this guy. Is quite a good negator but a poor decision maker under pressure.

The ground is completely different dimensions to any other ground and you play and train on it all year. Other teams play on it an average of probably once every 2 years. Of course it’s very difficult to win at. It wouldn’t matter how good, bad or indifferent the Cats team was … it is always going to be harder than anywhere else to win.

What’s the Hawks win/loss in Launceston, another ground no team except the Hawks regularly play at? From 2001-2007 Hawks won 39% of games outside Tassie and 71% in Tassie.

From 2010 to 2016 they won 26 of 27…. They were obviously a great team for most of that period, but not 96% win rate great ….

Total win/loss in Tassie is 76.6% from 2001 onwards. Their record at Waverley… where they played during their 1983-1991 domination ……. is 66%.

So grounds that are foreign in dimensions or have foreign conditions provide far greater difficulty to win at. Cats have that advantage and it’s to be treasured as it’s very valuable in helping finish top-4.

I’m not even sure what we are debating… Cats have a great home ground advantage (excellent, good luck to them), Cats supporters want more games there because of that advantage (of course, who wouldn’t), and Cats currently have a distinct H&A advantage over 17 other teams which they want increased (I would too, so makes sense to me to push for 11 home games and finals at the Cattery).

Just don’t let me hear the current H&A fixture provides a disadvantage…. because it doesn’t. The rest of the debates are open for discussion.

More delusional fantasy. Seek help.

Wow. Got 9 likes as well. He was unconscious in mid-air. Good to see the Cats board is as feral as ours.

I'm not sure I would be hanging about on another team's board after a controversial and close game. But you guys keep coming here and poking the bear.

If you expect us to engage you and support your perspective then good luck with that.

Massive to come back from 17 down, particularly with our ersatz midfield, and massive that the guys who stood up were young.
Gets a like for “ersatz midfield”.

This sums up Kolo’s career and ability in a nutshell. Personally I can’t have it in September. He should be squeezed out when we have:

B: Bews SDK Tuohy
HB: Stewart Henry O’Connor/Zuthrie

Did anyone else get major classic Cats v Hawks vibes yesterday?

When we were six goals up, I know they’d come back. When they were three goals up in the last, I knew we had one more push in us. It’s like it was destined to be a close finish. Really reminded me of so many similar games we had with the Hawks during our streak.

Didn't like the cats surporter in front of us saving 6 seats for people ...who come to seat down 5 mins before the game ..
If they showed up before the first bounce then Ive got no problem with that. Maybe they were just in the bar and got there before you.

Reserved seats that go empty are what the pitchfork is for

Geez Riewoldt looked cooked last night. Barely ran at all. Might be carrying something?

Has looked cooked for 12+ months, can still occasionally pull out a decent game. I was very surprised to read recently that he’s keen to play on next season.

Magnificent .....both sides.

What a game....and all those nuffies who doubt this team and the coaching group...go * yourself.

I'll wear a sanction..it was worth it.
I certainly put my hand up there
I thought game was following the familiar script v Tigers we saw preliminary and GF.

Kolo should be told never to short pass in field, and if in any doubt, kick it long down the wing. It is not as if he gets a lot of kicks anyway so it wouldn’t damage our rebound.
