Geelong rorting the system

It’s disgusting behaviour from a major sponsor of the cats, who also employs a young star from a rival club, to court and entice him to play for the cats. Draft and Develop your own.

Geelong will be an appealing destination as long as regional living remains affordable.

Sydney recieved cost of living allowance (COLA) for years to help compensate for high Sydney property prices.

I think it's time the AFL implement do the exact opposite for Geelong and slash their salary cap.

Different clubs have things in their favour that attracts player.

Geelong have a relaxed lifestyle and sustained success.
Collingwood have a massive supporter base and big games.
QLD teams have the weather and the "off broadway" element.
SA clubs have an airport.

Extra home game? With the least home games in the league, that is BigFooty logic at its best

1 extra pure home ground advantage game. Pretty much everybody else has neutral home games.

It’s actually scary how you think you guys are the victims when you are in fact the most privileged.

So like I said, give an inch you take a mile. Thanks for proving it.

Carlton’s 3 biggest home and away attendances this year against Bombers, Pies and Cats, that’s strange isn’t it.

Cute that the Round 7 Carlton game was Geelong's biggest home and away crowd for the year by at least 10k.

Even more cute that your 2nd biggest home and away crowd for the year was also against Carlton in Round 15.

If you take those two games out of Geelong's average crowd attendance then you are in Bulldogs/Saints territory.

There was a time when the only players Geelong could attract from other clubs were washed up has beens at the end of their career. Nowadays players don't have the active social life they once had in Melbourne, if they go out today someone will have them on a phone video or pic in seconds. No more Tunnel, no more Saloon Bar, no more falling out of King Street strip clubs at 2am in the morning! Geelong offers a lot of anonymity and they take them up on it.

Who gives a shit.

It’s cute that your powerhouse club hasn’t done jack shit since Raygun was in Year 1

Port should start giving away McDonald’s again, maybe we would’ve got Perryman.
