Didn’t you guys drop 3 in a row to collingwood and then rolled over in the following prelim to hand them a 4-peat? How many AAs did those collypies teams have?

Hahahaha 100+ years ago. But as always ill add some clarity you know facts.

Argus finals system what a joke. Collingwood 1927-30 4 in a row, and how in 1929 & 1930 even though they lost certain finals, they were able to use their 'right of challenge' to challenge the winner of the finals series to a Grand Final, which they then ultimately won.

If the minor premier was beaten in the SEMI-FINAL or FINAL, they could challenge the winner of the final, in the GRAND FINAL.

But I thought losing finals was better than missing finals? Or it doesn't work that way when Geelol are the team missing finals?

Geelol 1927-30...

1927 LOST 7.6 v 16.18 to Collingwood in the semi-final
1928 9th of 12 on the ladder 6-12 record
1929 7th of 12 on the ladder 8-10 record
1930 LOST the Grand Final to Collingwood 9.16 v 14.16

Yep, you were the useless campaigners that gave them 4 in a row. The only team in history to lose to a team winning their 4th consecutive GF.

And of course for the 4 years Richmond won h2h 5-2 v Geelol.

He can’t be a Geelong supporter, no way. Everything he says goes against Geelong. I reckon it’s Falcon in disguise personally.

Like our 15 Grand Finals in 26 years?

Or our 5 flags in 14 years?

Geelong won 3 flags in 5 years. Outside of that, 1 flag in 56 of the last 61 years. 1 :tearsofjoy:

Nothing like facts to set the record straight but geez some of these cats posters not all have a hard time with comprehension, and simple logic.

Lol, how does it feel to be smashed in 3 finals in 4 years by "AFL failures" right in the middle of your never ending "dynasty." 🤣
You have had a small patch of 4 years of success in 34years of the professional AFL era. Thr other 30 years Outside of this, richmond is a failed AFL club. Just a fact. You dont know how to build or sustain success. You go more by the broken clock method towards success.

I gave the GF records, so idk wtf you think I’m lying about.
Another lie! Your exact words were, "GAJ is an ordinary finals player like his dad". You didn't say Grand Final player

Ok I’m convinced Geelong people can’t count past 10. 13 is bigger than 10 people!!

We broken cloked our way to 3 flags in 4 years smashing geelol in 3 finals along the way. 🤣

Richmond had all sorts of off field issues that hampered them 1983 to about 2006. Since then our record is the envy of almost all AFL clubs. Those issues are well in the past for the club now so we'll just collect some major talent in the next couple of drafts then it is all upside for us....unlike the "at least we make its." :)

But regardless, you lost 4 in a row to Collingwood. No wonder they laugh at you. 😂

So you lost 27, 28, 29 Grand Finals and then the 1930 prelim to Collingwood? Kinda funny dude.

Probably would be kinda funny if it wasn't coming from the supporter of a club who got destroyed by Richmond in finals in 2017, 2019, 2020 while the Tigers marched to a dynasty of 3 flags, some 90 years more recently than the period you are stuck on. ;)

Yes, you where a basket case for 26 years, and i mean terrible for 26 years until you built a good team. That is for sure the broken clock method of success. Eventually things will go right if you are bad enough for long enough. Now it has passed, you are back to the norm of being a bottom club.

AFL era began in 1990, not counting garbage amateur premierships prior which consisted of tradies and plumbers playing AFL on weekends with zoning instead of drafts.

Always knew Gary Ablett Snr was an amateur footballer that played against plumbers. Still could’ve even win a flag against them. Thanks.

Grand finals are in the finals like what?!?!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
But the records show unequivocally that both father and son - the greatest father & son to ever play VFL / AFL - had umpteen bests afields or in the best in finals. Finals starts in week 1 (EF / QF) and culminates in the FR (week 4). So, as always you were wrong. Between you and your three aliases wouldn't you think you'd get your facts right?

You better tell that to Collingwood who have won less Grand Finals in the last 66 years than Richmond did in the last 7.

Or St Kilda, or North, or Bulldogs or...you get the picture. :)
