Despite all the focus on Gawn (and the potential return of Viney), the trio that really concern me are And Brayshaw brings a touch of class around the middle of the ground with the ability to break away and hit targets almost at will, Looks a really smooth mover to me.
Whereas for me, Brayshaw seems to be much better at navigating traffic with the handball than hitting hard targets by foot. He can tend to butcher it in some games (all of our mids have better DE), but he can certainly rack up the pill, I'll give you that.

So I'm not too worried. I think midfield to midfield, we match up pretty well. What worries me is their fast ball movement, as we can tend to be caught out in transition if we turn it over around half-forward. That's how teams have piled on the goals early in the past.

Should change his name to Cyril..Probably pop up and kick a bag against us Friday and descend into obscurity thereafter:rolleyes:
Absolutely. How he’s so highly rated completely baffles me.

Sorry guys, I rate him. Of course, when you know a player quite well, you watch their careers intently.
He is a bull and a gun. Yes, he is still inconsistent, but def a match winner at times.

I've taken a lot of interest in him too. His 2016 and 2017 were great, and it's been very surprising how ordinary he's been this season after being so good for the previous two.

Cmon.....anyone can come up with a highlights package on anyone. I could even find one for James Parsons

Just kidding

Article from the AGE -

"Finals is a whole new season. The season really starts now," Stewart said.

I can only assume this is what the coaches and players tell each other all week. I wonder if they ever actually consider in retrospect why it doesn't often work though, especially within this group. Last year's effort early against the Tigers for example, a club completely unprepared for finals footy, the one thing / game they all say means everything to them. One could say this talk is nonsense.

I honestly give us all but zero chance to win the flag, like most, but not really concerned. I just want to see this group put together 4 quarter efforts for as many quarters as they're in the finals for. Until they can do this, the same poor culture will continue, and we'll continue being out hustled by sides who just want it more. Talent is irrelevant.

He’s becoming a real leader, real fast

No changes.

I'm surprised Jesse Hogan being out hasn't been mentioned more. I think he's pretty important to them. Yeah, they've won without him, but it allows us to pay more attention to Tom McDonald. Can't see our defense letting them kick a massive score, so hopefully we're on down the other end.

Weideman is a good replacement
