The theory all along has been to hope GWS hurry and win a GF as soon as possible with the thought a guy like Coniglio would find it easier to leave but it might be even easier if they drop down the ladder. The only reason he’ll go to Carlton is for the grandfather type deal. Carlton have got a nice young nucleus forming there but so do we and we’ve done it without top 10 draft picks. Put the engine back in our car (Tom Mitchell) and the Hawthorn mobile looks way more promising IMO.

I called them playing finals at the start of the season and a couple on here at BF laughed at me. They have the KPP and a good engine room too. They might just make some noise come September but I don’t think they play the G as well as the smaller grounds.

Leon Cameron must be skating on thin ice. They are a shadow of the 2016 side that run in waves and looked unstoppable at times. Not going to win the flag this year especially without Callan Ward, probably miss the top 4 which is a disgrace with the talent on that list.

I reckon the GWS players know that no one cares.

No supporters, no crowds.
No one hates them but no one cares about their club.

That’s why they all want to leave.
