Osborne was one of my favs , had a cracking finals series.

Brownie playing out of weight division in the 2nd half , Guerra's cool and calm head under pressure .

A lot if those players slide under the gaurd that too , probably still do too .

ozzie with that glazed look on his face. He kicked so many clutch goals really

‘Geelong 2008 vibes ‘ this ones for us’
Still remember watching Geelong come out compared to us and it was night and day, they thought they'd walk all over us. Turns out you never know there's competition until it's arrived, we'd have belted them the next year too IMO if injuries didn't screw us for years, Saints were never on our level and barely lost to Geelong. Who knows though.

Been watching a lot of covid era sports due to having nothing else to do, the pressure really is off compared to before covid, I've always enjoyed NBA finals but just switched off Lakers vs Heat, don't even know how the Heat got there.

I don't know why people choose to get offended over the confidence that a years Premiership teams exudes either privately or publicly. I can only attest to what winning a Premiership feels like for a supporter, riding high on cloud nine confident your side can do it again, but I can imagine for a player who actually physically puts in the hard yards year after year, belting after belting as in the case of Melbourne, that you'd be absolutely on top of the world thinking nothing was impossible and it would be hard to not let that slip.

Who cares, let them have their moment in the sun and enjoy the moment.

That isn't confidence, that's arrogance.
They'll quickly become a hated team, just like Geelong if they keep it up
All premiership/successful teams are disliked or hated because they are where everyone else wants to be.

I like what they did during finals , backed themselves in to win it , put themselves out there and embraced the pressure.
Better then the excuses a few other teams were trotting out .

If they want to continue that mindframe, good on them .
Cant wait for us to be in that position again

Agreed. There's an old saying in sport. The winners can laugh and the losers can do as they please. When winning flags is something not to get excited about, then what's the point? Good luck to Melbourne, well deserved, and let's hope we can knock them off next year.

Fixed the bit about impossibility for ya.

Looking forward to seeing some real footy player nuff in response mandatory vaccines. Looking at Jaiden Stephenson to get the ball rolling soon.
NRL basically said your not going to be able to fly or get into a stadium if you dont get jabbed...your choice

More than half the EPL isn't vaxxed for what it's worth, same with the ATP. Those athletes have a choice though so I don't think we'll see anything like that here.

He already had a crack at this a while ago from memory. Posted a story on his instagram or facebook about vaccines.

Crisp is a gun and he had a huge year. Same could be said about us with Hardwick, a BP defensive player, polling high in multiple BnF's recently.
Had a good year, in a shit team. Yep.
