Toby Greene’s penalty upped to 6 weeks. Still feel it’s light but better than the joke that was 3 weeks.

Does O'Brien actually improve the dogs list? Good depth player, but can't see him upgrading what they already have in the way of Cordy/Gardner and or Bruce/English... seems like a nothing gain on their end.
He'll play back alongside Keath or Gardner. Solid competition for spots and depth

They've got him for nothing which helps

I'd just replace his name with Cordy in that sentence and get the same outcome. Probably an upgrade on Young, but just can't see it improving their list at all.

Hawthorn player I'd be after for Bulldogs would be Gunston, noting injuries still feel the risk would have been worth it, knowing the high quality swing role Jack has done for us in the past.

Crazy thing is they are more than likely going to use him how they should of used Liam Jones in the first place.

Whats a joke is that the AFL interfered in the outcome.

Not sure about that OTC. To the best of my knowledge:

A. Both parties always have the right of appeal
B. This is often exercised by the player/club to seek a reduced sanction
C. This is rarely exercised by the AFL as they wish to support due process
D. All appeals are conducted by an independent tribunal

Which part of the above do you consider a joke?

I don’t agree with the AFL interfering in a decision once it’s been made. It undermines the process

I didn’t agree with the 3 weeks at the time, thought it should of been much more but to change it now is just wrong
