There is a metric in NFL about expected wins based on scoring versus score conceded. I expect that the Pies would not rank highly on this measure. Very average team that got lucky quite often this season. But like Hawthorn continuously winning tight games in 2016, from memory.

They definitely have the belief that if the games is close they will win.

Even in 2016 we had a percentage of 118. Even when we weren’t top 4 quality.

Such a strange game by Carlton. They dominated the whole game.

No composure early - turned it on in the middle - lost all composure entirely at the end.

Cripps had a blinder but ultimately tried to do too much. He almost won them the game but he is also the reason they lost.
