Amazing that they have begun The 5 Stages of Loss & Grief already despite no even having lost yet. The denial is strong, not looking forward to anger, a few of them might threaten to stab people again :straining:

5 stages of Geelong:

Denial- "If we lose, it's because we had an off day, our best can beat anyone, and if the umpires hadn't helped the other teams, we'd be unbeaten this year."
Anger- "You fricken Dawks flogs think you're so good! It's pure luck! You never play Victorian teams in the GF! HOW DARE YOU EVEN MENTION 2008!"
Bargaining- "3 in 5 years is better than two-in-a-row. I mean, even 3-in-a-row, because the GF was a complete fluke, but if you look at the fact that we really should have won 2008, and we had a bad year in 2010, so really we effectively should have won 5-in-a-row by now. And if you look at our winning percentage, you'll find we've won more games than any other team of the last 15 years."
Depression- "Shit. This is all stuffed up. Can't believe it. Let's get Dangerfield or something..."
Acceptance- unknown... no cats supporters have ever reached this stage

Hilarious. From october last year from the mind of KB

Those days were bad. Real bad.
Yep, those other supporters who keep going on about how arrogant we are, and how we've never had to live through tough times...

There's a whole 5 months right there, from April to August...but we stuck it out...

According to the Herald Scum, three votes J. Bartel has been not-so-subtly told that he can expect to spend time in the VFL if he chooses to play on in 2017.

Would we? Could we? For one year? Imagine the meltdown on the Geelong board were that to happen? Would probably finish some of the ol' dears off.

He'd rather spend half the year at Geelong VFL than Boxhill.

Watching the fourth quarter of the dogs vs GWS 2014 end of season game.

Hoskin-Elliot still a GWS gun, cam McCarthy first game, Crameri kicking 3, season one of the hint

Who knew

My first five years following the Hawks consisted of about 1 win every 5 games, and even a winless season in 1950, so 2004 wasn't really that bad for me.

Do we really need a diving coach?

With all the talk about a possible spill of the Richmond board did a comparison with ours. We are so blessed to have so much diverse skill sets and elite medical people in there.
