True this. I thought their trade period was very similar to that of Port a couple of years ago. Landed a number of players but none of them are the type who are going to seriously raise the Aints much above their present level, as has now been seen to be the case with Port.

Have to say that it is actually downright decent of the Adelaide footy club to help poor Grant pay for his extensive medical bills following this horrific and gutless attack by a couple of cowardly thugs.

Never got to watch much of Fielke play, but he was a champion player in the SANFL from all reports.

May he have a full and successful recovery

Paddy needs to give it away, if its that bad a situation that he can't play for two years he has to put his health and future first now.

Only a dropkick would mock his career based on this (and there will be the droppiest of dropkicks to be sure)

Can only wish Paddy the very best of luck. Really hope he gets to play footy again at the highest level, but obviously his health has to come first.

Not a medical expert at all, not sure if wearing the helmet can actually prevent poor Paddy keep getting those awful head knocks and concussions.

Hopefully the Saints and Footy community/players association can help him with the costs of his travel and medical expenses

Still hope there is a chance his dream of being a top level AFL player can come true, from all I have read about Paddy, he seems like a nice fella who has just had some very rotten luck
