Such a weird and even season. Wouldn't be shocked to see a Collingwood v West Coast Grand Final. The Hawks' backline is still suspect against top sides that have the midfield to get it in there quickly. Pies have lost Macaffer, Ball, Krakouer and Johnson, yet their spine is intact and strong with Keeffe stepping up. Beams can fill in for Ball. Didak could be their wild card if he's fit for September.

Wholeheartedly agree. I'd be shattered if we dished up a performance this meek. In fact, I am shattered, got an unbearable mate who's about to become more obnoxious. This morning he stated Arsendon were certainties to make the prelim at least. Probably be back-to-back after tonight.

And whilst the arse have had a tendency to slump mid-season in years gone by, teams develop and get better. Gonna have to play well to beat them.

Even though essendon won today we are still 20% clear of everyone. Even a 1 point win will have us top by the end of the round
