In the same way that our 11.17 was still an exampe of us not being as good - Essendon will need to realise that they need better entires, to panic less, to find more space when they're delivering into fifty, not to kick so deep that the defender just punches it over the line etc.

This is the actually the best result for Essendon Haters.
Sydney beat them comfortably and keep bursting ahead when they really needed to.
Essendon played in a way that will fuel the delusion that they're actually performing at a high level.

The fact is that the season is divided in two: 1. Establiahed teams (Sydney) 2. Rebuilding teams (everyone else).
