Cue the “this is a blight on the game. The competition is so unbalanced when some teams get to play Richmond twice! The Tigers genuinely could go winless next year. It’s an expansion team standard list, with a few senior players of which the vast majority are injury prone in Lynch and Hoppers case and or finished in Broad, Prestia, Nankervis and Vlaustins case.
I don’t see them winning 2 games and i reckon they could see upwards of twelve 10 goal plus losses.
They’ll be horrid
But were they tanking like Hawthorn and Sam Mitchell were!!!Cue the “this is a blight on the game. The competition is so unbalanced when some teams get to play Richmond twice!
We all congratulated them for their draft night, but could they have held Rioli and Baker to their contracts?”
Just wait.
So lose 2 midfielders to rejuvenate a young group and provide opportunity is a form of tanking. What then did Richmond do losing more than 1000 additional games of experience? Can we get someone like Nat to ask him that question essentially with the option to apologise for getting it wrong or call out the tigers far worse tanking behaviour? But were they tanking like Hawthorn and Sam Mitchell were!!!
Usually? We'll let them beat us right?
Usually when we lose to the Tiggers during the season we win the flag.
Have I read this wrong, did we win 6 flags I don’t know about ?Usually?
I guess if you ignore 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 & 2023
Hyperbola is the Italian version?
I suspect you mean hyperbole?
I listened to the sacked podcast with Trent Croad today. A good listen even if it’s with Jon Ralph who naturally made me misunderstand why the word sack was included in the title. It discussed the saints comeback game from 1999 its well worth 2 hours for any avid hawk especially if you haven’t seen it.
And the commentary from Peter McKenna and Peter Landry 2 of my all time favourites. The honesty and lack of bullshit like most of todays callers is sorely missed. One of my fave 90s games that I went to.
I remember I went with a kid who was staying with us who was from overseas and didn't know the game, and he spent the entire first half giving me shit for how crap we were. Ended up rubbing his face in it a bit...

My late mum wanted to leave at half time but there were just enough signs to stay. Imagine if we hadn’t…I was at that game, I remember at half time having a kick with a friend talking about how we didn't want to go to school on Monday to cop it from saints fans. By 3 quarter time even though we were still behind, we knew we had it won.
Spanish, I thoughtHyperbola is the Italian version
I dunno, i remember Everitt kicked a pretty amazing curler before 3Q time and thinking they might hold on.I was at that game, I remember at half time having a kick with a friend talking about how we didn't want to go to school on Monday to cop it from saints fans. It wasn't raining.... but it was super cold. Freezing.I got the bus and it was late so didn't arrive tl 1/4 time. Was tempted to turn around and leave, but it would've been an absolute pain so thought bugger it I may as well stay.
Was it raining as well? It was Waverley, so chances are...
Glad I stayed!
