The return of the home game at docklands...

Need to find a way to wean ourselves off the Alice Springs game IMO, if the AFL is going to force us to play a home game at docklands each year I'd rather not also play the game in Alice.

The return of the home game at docklands...

Need to find a way to wean ourselves off the Alice Springs game IMO, if the AFL is going to force us to play a home game at docklands each year I'd rather not also play the game in Alice.

Our supporters boycotting docklands was pretty effective. AFL needs a reminder that our supporters won't stand for the indignity of making two extra train stops.

Hopefully the crowd rivals our 2015 round 23 game against GWS.

Here's the thing about this fixture:

If we do great, then we get prime-time post the bye.

If we do poorly, then the AFL was justified in giving us a horrible schedule, which was better than what I was expecting, but still, to begin with.

All depends on us. They're watching.

I know there was some mail that senior players (Viney?) didn't get along/rate McQualter as midfield coach. Our midfield generally sucked ass this year.

It's interesting Jones talking about coming back to coach and the importance of his relationships/trust with the senior players. Seems like the senior players may not have bought in to McQualter's messaging at all.

Worryingly Jones says he and Goody see the game similarly, which points to more of the same.
