Yeah, I was only being half-serious. No doubt Fevola disgraced himself in a D&D performance with more embarrassing moments than having an extended dig at his captain. I can imagine the sorts of things that might have gone on, but I still have my doubts that it was as serious as some of the other incidents that have gone on involving other players in recent (and not so recent) times.
In light of Fevola's previous transgressions and the persistent spotlight that Carlton has had regarding player behaviour and cover-ups, they have really had their backs to the wall with regards to how to handle the situation.
Personally I think suspending Fevola (S.Johnson got 6 weeks at Geelong) and then make him work his way back into the team through the reserves would be more effective. In the case that it backfires, Fevola would be the one looking poorly as opposed to the club. On the flip-side, if Carlton don't end up trading Fevola, they'd be stupid not to suspend him, as it will only end up looking as though he has got off without punishment and they'll look as though they are unable to manage their players if there are any further transgressions.
