It was awesome at the Napier today.

Last week I foolishly thought one grand final win and I'll never feel the need to come down here for any other gf appearances.

I talk utter crap sometimes. Awesome atmosphere, the derby pub event was awesome, as was the parade, the captains run and walking through Fitzroy chatting to other lions fans.

I'll be here for every gf we make while I am physically able. Such a buzz.

And the weather is magnificent.

I’m MCC member so guaranteed a ticket for myself, but last year I would have skipped it to watch the game together with my kids. Lucky we all got tickets in the Brisbane ballot so could watch it together.
Head to a live site if you can - not quite the same, but you still get to be part of the big day.

I really, really hope I'm wrong but my gut says Sydney by at least 25. I would love nothing more than for my prediction to be wrong. Is there one more big effort left? I sure as heck hope so.

Think Sydney will win as well. If the Lions play at their peak and kick straight they can win but it's a big if coming from two tiring games and 5th place.

Nah whoever it is/was was a big name, big enough that it got Dom Fay excited - Fogarty isn’t that, you’d be taking a punt on him coming good; plus we were in the running for him a couple years ago as a McStay replacement anyway.

I can't say but it wouldn't surprise me if Dom gets excited over some weird prospects.
