If you saw the speech Beams gave at the best and fairest there is no way he can ask to walk away 2 weeks later. It was such an emotional endorsement of his team mates and the relationships he has with them on and off the field and the reason he wanted to stay. Also Fagan said they are very close and there is no way he would do something or even plan to do something without speaking to Fagan beforehand.

They will get 5 + for Neale. I expect they will offer 5 and 23 for Kelly and 12. Then probably 12 and 30 will go for Lobb and 25 and 25 and their 2019 1st for Hogan (plus whatever surplus picks they get from Brisbane) or similar. They have way more capacity to deal than WCE who have very little.

People haven't seen a lot of Burton this season obviously, completely undid his very promising first full year of senior footy, was simply awful at times, things that made him a standout like his kicking, poise, reading of the play completely deserted him, he was a pick 19 & i can't see how he's worth anymore than that with how clubs rate picks higher than actual players.

What?!? Rohan is an aggressive player and that is why he may not look so durable but Murdoch and Thurlow haven't shown that sort of aggression and willingness to put themselves in the contest imo! I'd rather have Rohan in a final!

My post was around the long long log list of complaint on durability. Can’t really remember what it was but I like the look of Rohan. Don’t need menz now. This guy can mark, tackle and buzz around the fwd 50. We haven’t had anything like that for years.

So menz played allot ‘11 prior to injury, got injured ‘12-14, played a little ‘15. Allot ‘16. A fair bit ‘17 and not so much ‘18. Thats 8 years. I really feel for him but I think its just about over and that makes me a little sad.

Thurlow stays for mine. He could lift a gear in 2019 knowing how close he came to being booted. I think we’ve seen the best of what the rest has to offer, excluding Kelly who doesn’t want to be at GFC.

As for list size, the most we can have on our list is 40 (primary) and 7 (rookies) with 3 (cat B rookies) and minimum list size is 47 all up. As it currently stands, we have 40 in our total squad and we’re bound to lose Kelly. So we’d need to use picks 12, 50 and 60 at the draft. We’ll also use the pick/s we get for TK, meaning we take 2-3 rookies.

Edit: to clarify, Murdoch, Menzel and Thurlow all stay unless we can get a pick inside 60 for any of them.

I really don't want Murdoch on our list next year. I don't think I could handle both him and Rohan running around together in the same team to be honest...

If any of you can handle Parsons running around then surely Murdoch is bearable. The guy is inconsistent like most of our bottom tier - he's a perfect example of a player who has the attributes but not the mental side. Maybe the coaches are to blame and he would flourish under a different system/club.
