McCallum was great that quarter. Defence might be alright in a few years

They dominated the middle 20 minutes.

Our tall backs were mostly pretty good. McCallum, Marshall and Pasini all won important contests. McCallum’s agility and rebounding were impressive. Teakle less convincing.

Moore was our best player and although scrappy is the only mid capable of extracting clearances.

Georgiades tried hard but couldn’t find space. Lord did one thing for the quarter but it was spectacular.

Visentini and Hayes were both effective in ruck. Visentini does look the goods.

Hagan and Evans were busy and tenacious. Scully unsighted. Bonner quiet but when he did get it, we were much better off.

Burgoyne is going through one almighty rut with his kicking. Winning contests, running hard but turning it over all the time. Sinn very quiet and back to looking laconic.
