Well 8 teams every year do it in both the VFL and AFL. I think the extra games and experience of finals for some younger players (and even some of the more experienced ones) is invaluable. Hopefully they can play a good game on Sunday and push deep into finals.

Just querying Jimmy Tsitas. From my club Woodville West Torrens. How has he been playing. He hasn't been named in the AFL side from memory. Was a ball magnet in Adelaide. We don't get any VFL info here.

He got one game at AFL level in the forward line, but unfortunately for him he didn’t have much of an impact and then he was dropped the week after.

Has done well for the VFL team as a more mature inside mid who can get a goal every now and then.

Can't see him getting any form of contract extension.

Tries his best but too small and not athletic enough I'm afraid.

Don't know what position he could play at AFL level.

I believe he still is contracted for 2023 but we miss him at our club. He was outstanding in 2021 at WWTFC. Height was he is listed as 181cm so certainly not too small .

The more games he plays the better for him. You could say the same about others, e.g., Andrew.

It could be risky. But having players like Andrew and Hollands continuing to get experience and play games is probably most important. They still have a lot of learning to do.

Will be interesting to see if they are much better after their stint in the AFL. I love the look of both of them.

Fiorini can’t play this game, due to playing too many AFL games. Not sure why he didn’t play last week in the VFL since he wasn’t made sub. Maybe someone was under an injury cloud (or he was himself).
