Like it.This is my first ever attempt at a guernsey so go easy on me. I wanted to go with an original jumper design to differentiate from vees and stripes and still look like a classic footy design. I think a minor tweak of colours would also help going forward. I also rewrote the club song as the current one irks me. Let me know what you think.
Ochre of the land
Gold of sun and sand
Blue of the sea and the sky
The Suns will always rise
The coast will always thrive
A team who never say die
We're the Suns of a Gold Coast sky
Burning big and bright
We play to win the flag for you
We're the team who never say die
From the coast with the most
We will rise to be the toast
We are on the path to glory
Jump on board and join our story
Suns of a Gold Coast sky
Burning big and bright
Fight, fight, fight
We're the team who never say dieView attachment 1832046View attachment 1832047
Love the design and especially love the emblem, I think they’ve the G and C being the centre of a Sun shape is a ****ing ripper. Not sold on the colours though personally, the blue probably needs to be a little darker (closer to their clash jumper) but I’m also not big on them wearing blue as a base colour, I think red and gold being surf lifesaving colours is perfect. i do think this design in their current colours though would be pretty close to perfect though, so nice work! This is my first ever attempt at a guernsey so go easy on me. Seems very similar to something LeeARM did a while back.Love the design and especially love the emblem, I think they’ve the G and C being the centre of a Sun shape is a ******* ripper.
I vaguely recall his being a little different with the sun rays being separate but I could be wrong. Either way, since I saw his one back in the day I’ve been 100% sold on the idea of the GC/Sun emblem over the current surfboard (possibly?)Seems very similar to something LeeARM did a while back.
How about a darker blue at the bottom to represent the sea? And keep the current blue to represent the sky, where the logo is situated. This is my first ever attempt at a guernsey so go easy on me. I tried to incorporate a darker blue but it looked oddHow about a darker blue at the bottom to represent the sea? And keep the current blue to represent the sky, where the logo is situated.
Looks good, but the logo has to go
i like it, needs blue accents though
I like the yellow version. What's it look like with a slightly golder tone, and slightly darker red?

Great find with the jumper! I see that the football trophy has '75 on it. I can't read the plaque. Does anyone know how many times 'The Sun' All Stars Team played over the years? I presume 1975 & 1983. Did they play from 1976 to 1982 also? This intrigued me, so I did a little googling and found some things.

The inverted away version of that jumper would cause a few problems lately....This intrigued me, so I did a little googling and found some things.
