Was a good call recently but a bad call now having compared both his and Lakes games on Buddy.

Dale Thomas should stop dying his hair, cut it short, not go on the footy show, nor do any media/ad's etc and just concentrate on his footy. Good call, bad call?

GOOD CALL... atm... he needs to concentrate more on footy bcuz he is not playing his best footy

Western bulldogs should get barry hall for ONE year if they want a genuine crack at a premiership?

Bad call Harry, the big bad one has said himself he can`t promise he won`t whack someone if he played again.

Q. Is John " don`t call me John call me Jack" Anthony just warming the seat for Pebbles ?

Very bad call. Anthony is full of potential and has been showing it since his first game. Rocca on the other hand is old, tired and well on his way out. He's no longer in Collingwood's best 22 and since they are real contenders he shouldn't get another game before his career is over at the end of the season.

Despite the talk of tanking amongst the bottom of the ladder, is 2009 the best year of football in a long time? (From the perspective of fans, clubs and the AFL)

Great call, Brillant call, Its the Right call. Without a doubt hutchy its been the best year. How many blockbusters have we had? PLENTY.

Not Playing at the MCG till round 22 will **** up saints chances of winning the big one when it matters?

Good Call/Bad Call?

North Melbourne should be allowed to play a home game in Ballarat

Good call, Smart call. Victoria is home, and home is where they play home games.
Lot of work to do regarding a suitable ground, and the will have to stick with it for 20 years to reap the rewards. Its the only option for selling games and keeping a semblence of credibility.

Julie deserved to win masterchef

Who gives a **** call.

Essendon are too reliant on their veterans and will drop back down a few spots when Fletcher, Lloyd and Lucas leave.

good call they are in trouble when the leave there are no future fowards coming in for them.

St.Kilda will vs the Bulldogs in the grand final.

Bad call, on current form and ladder position the odds are clearly in favour of a Saints vs Cats grand final.

Port Adelaide should bring Peter Burgoyne back into their side for the showdown?

Bad call. Peter won't be back but his brother Shaun may be.

Ports black guernsey last week should be there away strip?

Bad call, the stage of orgin football needs more then a week to run, example, victoria play western australia and south australia

Will Hawthorn make the 8th this year?

Good call - to many clubs around them will lose games against middle of the road clubs and they will sneak in.

Geelong will start to regret giving away Prismall and King by years end?

Bad call if Ottens returns by years end because Mumford is good too. There midfield is still brilliant as well.

Umpires who give away 50m penalties for 'demonstrative demeanour' should be dragged from the field and interchanged just like a player is when he does something horrible?

bad call - you cant just start benching the umps during games. off field is the place where interpretation issues should be resolved, possibly by sending the umps back to the reserves like you would a player in bad form.

buckley will refuse the richmond and north jobs and take up an assistant job instead.

Good call because i can see Collingwood railroading him into taking an assistants job until MM leaves for somewhere that offers a new challenge.

The AFL will find a sensible rule to help discourage tanking in the like by the end of the 2010 AFL Season.

The AFL will find a sensible rule to help discourage tanking in the like by the end of the 2010 AFL Season.

Bad call. The AFL is refusing to even acknowledge the possibility of tanking right now. Things may change if Melbourne/Freo/West Coast have some suspicious losses later on this season. I reckon the AFL would be better off discussing the issue and forming a report (either public or private). However, things don't seem likely to change whilst the AFL blatantly dismiss the issue.

The fixture can be improved if each team plays every other team in the competition in the first 15 rounds.

The AFL will find a sensible rule to help discourage tanking in the like by the end of the 2010 AFL Season.

Bad call. The AFL has a sensible solution in front of them - deciding the draft order after round 16 - and could further tighten the belt to ensure clubs (such as West Coast) are not rewarded with a priority pick just three years (!) after winning a premiership.

But the chances of that happening in time for the 2010 draft are unlikely. Demetriou is incredibly pig-headed about this issue when he doesn't need to be. We need to re-think what tanking means...it's not about purposely losing and players, it must be noted, are hard-wired to win matches.

The issue is that coaches can do many, many things which disable their players from winning. The best coaches, in that situation, will play every kid they can, develop them as much as possible before the season is out and then further supplant that development with more top-quality draft picks. You'll lose matches, but develop players. So you're not trying to lose, you've just changed the focus of the match to list development. You might not win the game, but you might win a premiership down the track from such decisions.

Hence, nobody is trying to lose a vast majority of matches. It's a by-product of development. Therefore, we need to re-think what tanking means and how we can legislate against it. It's very hard to do, but the R16 call is too early for teams to start dropping too many matches intentionally.

(Sorry, you replied before I did. But I'll keep it going anyway...)

Good call. Yes, it could be. It means the fixture is unfairly slanted - it's bad enough as is that certain clubs have several "locked in" fixtures.

North Melbourne should pay whatever it costs to bring in Nathan Buckley, even if it means making him the highest-paid coach in the AFL. Not only could he one day be an excellent coach, but the marketing excitment drummed up by his appointment would sell thousands of memberships and give the club a new sense of ambition for the next decade. It could prove a club-saving move.

Good call. It's a big risk, but it's risks like that that could save their club.

Cameron Mooney could cost the Cats another Grand Final with his goal kicking. Good call, bad call?

Good call, although Volt is only just behind now.

Collingwood's coaching plans for Mick & Bucks will work.

Bad call. although depends what you call "work". Are the Pies one good assistant coach away from a flag ? No. Mick and Bucks have been together at the pies for many years without success, what has changed ? Nothing. Will their be infighting, backstabbing, dysfunctional off field happenings at the Pies? No.

Richmond will appoint Rawlings for 3 years soon.
