Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Will be interesting to see how he goes this weekend. My guess is he wont add much to his total!
If you look at who he's played on when he's kicked goals, He is hard to match up on as he is tall and athletic. If you have someone similar to him, as Seymour and hopefully Swans do this weekend it should quieten him down a big.

All credit to the big fella, he's playing very well, How many weeks til Graingers back giving him a hand down there?
Swans need to pull their big boof head out of their buts. They are losing me more and more each weak and if they dont start putting in a good effort and win some games Im off them!
I wont be holding my breath on Swans keeping Jansz very quiet.
ps Im not off the Swans yet, just getting ready to jump if I have to.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

every year since then, when seymour has travelled to echuca, echuca has won the game, yet the lions have gone on to win the flag in 3 of those 4 years.
a bad fixturing debacle by the gvfl.

I can't remember the last time Seymour has played at princess park. they obviously don't look at the previuos years draw when they are doing the draws

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Our league were on our side it was the VCFL.
Think you will find that its the role of Leagues and the VCFL to now stuff as many clubs around as they can. Its now in their job description to do things in the most redicuals way they can come up with.
Its all about the individual in these places!!

Correct - Remember talking to Eric Bott after he was umpiring one day saying that the GV did everything possible and that the VCFL went against the league. Nice little stuff up and very stiff penalty

I dont think he will add much either this weekend. I didnt see his name in the selected side. Grainger wasnt named either.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Hi guys can anyone from seymour tell me how rod van reit is going? He was meant to come to abers this year but stayed with you guys

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Echuca beat Seymour by 5 points in an awesome game of footy. Saad, a day to forget, sticking his finger up to the crowd, giving away 50 metre penalties and the knocking out Craig Sutton and being reported and carded at the start of the last quarter. Has to definitely get more than 1 week. Col Durie, Chris Casey and Adrian Dohnt were superb for the Murray Bombers.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

also heard scanlon sent off in last qtr as well, stevo broke his leg in the game too!! costly game for the lions!!

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

The Lions might struggle for the next month or so if they lose Saad for a few weeks, Stevenson perhaps for the season and apparantly Scanlon has a groin injury that is restricting him. Echuca seem to have the wood over the seymour boys
