Is it normal to shed a tear after watching the highlight package? Oh man.
I busted through the happy tears reaction around the 10th highlights rewatch, I'm now just immensely satisfied and can not get the grin off my face until I occupy my mind with something else.

I am sure the players just want their feeling of accomplishment and ecstasy again.

Came across this really interesting analysis of our our ruck setup against Grundy, goes to show how switched on Fagan and coaching staff were on the day!

I hope our midfield core are fit and firing next season. Frothing to see what Ashcroft, Neale, Dunkley, McCluggage and Rayner can do together. We only saw a glimpse in finals IMO.

Does it include pre-game? I.e. players running out, national anthem, grand final pre game, etc?

That’s the one thing about Kayo the replays start right from the first bounce which is disappointing
In the GF ?
There is bluray and DVD copies
Haven’t watched yet ,
but it says it has the entire game featuring closed captioning and 3 alternate radio commentary to choose from .
I assume so , ever the old videos of the 3 peat did .

I guess the prelim too? I’ll probably buy it anyway regardless

It’s beautifully packaged , very impressive really .
AFLbrand by MADMAN .

No idea who that is , I am pretty old but I am just enjoying looking at all the detail in the packaging at the moment , taking it all in .

I thought I would never see another Premiership in my lifetime and I am going to enjoy every detail of it as long as I can .

Madman have been around forever, I remember them specialising in great anime DVD releases back at the turn of the century.

I briefly looked at mine today too. The Grand Final looks great as it should in blu-ray and there are the alternate commentaries. The other finals are like a Kayo replay- they only include the games themselves, editing out everything else. Being on DVD they look ok on close ups but a bit pixelated on wider shots. Until I can’t I’ll watch those on kayo but it’s good insurance as they’ll eventually disappear I’m sure.

I get excited thinking about and writing this.

Hipwood and Payne were a fair way off full fitness. I reckon Eric is only going to keep improving for another 3 or 4 years. Against the Bulldogs at Docklands when he kicked 6 goals he put it all together and was just about unstoppable.

Coleman and McCarthy hopefully make full recoveries and get back to their best.
The added confidence from this year, players working even harder to make / hold a spot in the team next year, the younger guys continuing to mature and learn.

Across the next few years we'll see McCluggage, Berry, Bailey, Dunkley, and Rayner play their career best footy.

Joe will be missed of course, but the brains trust will figure out how to win without him.
Go Lions!

(Oh...and of course L&W Ashcroft 😂)

That 7 year Hipwood contract hopefully is going to look very good in a year or two.

With Daniher out, Hipwood is getting a chance to own that forward line. I hope he goes another level with the additional responsibility.

Reckon Hippy was just hitting his stride just as Joe came into the side and his entire role changed. I’m very bullish about that long-term deal
Same here.

Even when clearly restricted by injury toward the end of the season and during the finals he was still servicable.
Also, fully recovering from a knee reconstruction is going to take longer for a player of his height and build in a key forward role.

He's athletic and got a great attitude. Only going to get better when fully fit.

Plus, he seemingly only recently learned it is easier to mark the footy with a single grab instead of popping it up for a second grab.

Who knows how much he can improve with other learnings

In all seriousness, I love hippy and am excited to see how he goes
