“I copped a lot of sh&t last year, I have a right to celebrate as long as I want” - me
“Eye roll*” - wife
Just watched this , absolutely brilliant !!Brilliant work Jessica Kiss.
Mate. I’m so bloody sorry to hear this news. I feel so bad for you and your wife. I hope things are looking on the up for you guys.My 6 year son was diagnosed with cancer in May, and my wife and I spent 1 month in Ronald McDonald house going over to QCH where he was getting treatment. Fair to say it's been a tough year, and we are still going through regular chemo 9 months later. I feel like I'm only now, after watching this video, appreciating the amazing effort from the team and coaches to win this premiership. What a fantastic effort, GO LIONS!!
Sending love to you and your family . It’s a horrendous thing you are going through but research has done so much in the treatments for childhood cancer .Hope your little man is doing wellMy 6 year son was diagnosed with cancer in May, and my wife and I spent 1 month in Ronald McDonald house going over to QCH where he was getting treatment. Sweet Jesus this was top shelf. Hope Jess gets hired by a sports club somewhere - clearly has the talent.
She should do the montages for Fox Footy.
Speaking of, the Fox Footy montage after our prelim still gives me goosebumps.
I’m so keen to continue to hoover up every bit of lions content until I die. I hope they make a documentary on this.
Before some Geelong or Carlton fan comes in here carrying on, the biggest finals comeback in *AFL historyThey absolutely have to tbh. It is one of the greatest story arcs you'll ever see in sport. From 2016's low to the Lions appointing a guy who never played AFL, to the rise, to the 2023 GF loss, to the Hawks saga, to the injuries, culminating in a finals series consisting of a historic 60-0 lead in the qualifying final, the biggest finals comeback in history, one of the truly great prelims, to Oscar's Guernsey hanging up, leading to a dominant GF win. Record breaking and storylines everywhere. Will never happen again.

Was doom scrolling when I thought I’d check out this thread…. But just want to say that my thoughts are with you and your family. I can’t imagine being in your position, and I’m glad that the Lions were able to bring a little bit of light for you in such a trying year. I wish all the best for your young man, that the chemo is effective and you all have a wonderful and healthy Christmas. My 6 year son was diagnosed with cancer in May, and my wife and I spent 1 month in Ronald McDonald house going over to QCH where he was getting treatment.
