Thursday

4pm Roar Deal live podcast @ Royal Derby Hotel, Fitzroy (currently sold out but potentially extra capacity to be added)

8pm(ish) Some session with Browny and Ash McGrath (not quite sure of the details here) @ Preston somewhere?



Friday

9am-9:30 Open Captain's run @ MCG

10:30am-12:30pm Grand Final parade @ Melbourne Park Live Site, through Birrarung Maar and into Footy Festival at Yarra Park, concluding at Gate 3 of the MCG.



Saturday

9am Lions prematch do @ London Tavern, Richmond (unofficial)

10ish Lions pre-game brunch @ Crown

10:30-noon Roar Deal brunch @ Fed Square and then walk to MCG from Taxi Kitchen from noon

2:30pm-5:30pm Grand Final

7pm-midnight Lions Grand Final after party @ Crown Palladium



Sunday

10am-noon @ Brunswick Street Oval



Monday

10am-noon @ Michael Voss Oval



Obviously I will have missed other events and details here, so speak up if you know of anything else that's going on and I'll endeavour to keep this post up to date with all the happenings this week

So Sunday is a happening thing. Confirmed with a lions staff member at the Fitzroy town Hall pop up shop.

10am to noon. Players will be there at some point.

We are thinking of going to the MCG to watch the future stars game, gates open at 9.30am, I can't find anything about what time bouncedown is for the future stars game but it's usually very early.

Will's baby brother Levi Ashcroft and Lions academy boys Sam Marshall and Tom Gillett will be playing.

There were murmurings of a walk to the MCG from the Rose Hotel in Fitzroy at 12 p.m., but I have since been unable to find any information on it.

Any other pubs doing similar for Lions fans?

I'm travelling solo from regional Vic on the morning of the game and am keen to be around other BL fans before heading to the G.

Note: have found this at London Tavern, Richmond for those interested.
