Lose it. Without question.

The thing being, you won't know you'll lose by 96 points until the game, hence the season and the build up and the supporters and the hope and the dreams and the GF parade and the team selection and the last training session will last until... the first bounce.

I'd have rathered Hawthorn make the grand final against the Lions in 2001 then get beaten in the prelim, we would have been belted but at least I wouldn't feel like spewing every time I see Vozzo and Goldspink.

Not make it. In hindsight that would be best. It is all or nothing and it really hurts to be sooo close and yet end up with nothing. May as well crash out in the prelim.

Having said that, the anticipation that builds up in GF week is great.

Whats it like to even lose a Grand Final....anyone? ;)

ifs its by a horrendous margin (thankfully i havent though) i think its much easier to swallow then when its by a small margin. when its also ripped off you by one of the most extraordinary marks in our game and in the last seconds of it it can be the most depressing feeling. took me a week to start to get over it. seeing the footage of it and seeing dean cox break down as well can literally make ya suicidal. thats my two cents.

It's better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all.
Every cloud has a silver lining.
Man with dick in cookie jar not necessarily f...ing crackers.
