Geelong midfielder Cory Gregson will not play again this season after suffering a stress fracture in his foot.

The 19-year-old reported discomfort over the weekend and scans revealed the issue.

Unlucky for the young fella. Feel like he was on the fringes of forcing his way back into the team.

I'd love to see him forward. Removes his time to think (soon as he does trouble arises) and increases his need to play on instinct and attributes where he is very strong.
