Gumby actually showed decent signs this year Essendon should try to keep him because you would not wnat him to go over to Freo and start playing good footy
This, his best is scary good. THEM DUKES.

That's why he ows u somethinIf you mean risk sticking with him given his potential to never really get on the park long term or give him up with the potential to be a good to excellent CHF I'd rather we risk that he'll never come good while keeping him on our list. Personally the loss of him never getting it together is dwarfed by the potential returns of a CHF 197cm tall, great set of hands and reputed to have had similar running capacity to Reiwolt as a junior.
So let him fail at our club, if his body is going to fail.
If we think his injuries can be managed then I'd give him a go. Kepler is a hunchback but seems to get out there consistently.

When he and I were tag teaming your cat. When exactly has he played his best? Average output even when fit.
I would have thought Gumbleton is worth a one year deal no matter where he goes. Way too much risk he will throw out his back and miss a season.
Dont want Hansen to leave North but I would have thought Freo would prefer him. Only 24 and really starting to come good. He also plays out a full season without needing time off for soreness
I think you may have Jason Laycock who retired and went back to Tasmania with Kepler Bradley.
As for Laycock. We definitely didn't pick him up. Dunno who did. Unless that is a clever pun or something that went straight over my head.
If he come good then that is a massive bargin - if he fails then no damage done.
1 year is more to do with risk of injury and the fact that we have a few other young up and coming guns all in the CHF role. Dont want to be stuck with too many forwards for three years.Yet essendon aren't willing to offer a 3 year contract... so obviously they don't rate his potential that high.
What's the latest with salary cap situation at bomber land? In came in Goddard at 800k pa, out went monfries 300k pa (?) Where is the other 500k salary cap coming from? Surely two or more of the below simply just needs to be traded or delisted? Gumby and Reimers seem the most likely IMO. But would be good to get a bomber fan point of view (or even confirm this list is correct?)

Your list above contains the one's we will most likely want to keep..The 2 glaring omissions are Prismall and Lonergan....I think it will be those 2 and possibly Dyson...But it seems the doggies may be prepared to pay us what Gumby is worth...As for freo picking him up for nothing in the PSD, will not happen...Also I heard Monfries was on about $400,000....Media reports said Goddard will be getting 725-750 K a year.....Freo offered him 800,000 but he knocked them back..WHOOO HOOOO thanks BrenDON..
Was reported in the Age that Godard is on 2.9 Million in total over 4 years...Not sure if it is true or not..Thanks but I thought i read bombers was 4 years for 3.4m =850k a year for Goddard? Monfries 400k is more than I thought as well.
Doggies have pick 41 after Freo unless theyre offering pick 21? if that's the case for Gumby surely is overs and well done to bombers if that goes through.
For me Gumby is a 3rd round pick but have little care if we don't get him. Not trying to troll, just trying to understand how a club can suddenly find 750k a year for a free agent and not lose a player or two.

Which would leave room for us to add?????McVeigh will also free up some space.
Not sure it is my job to help raise money for the flight plan.
