Gutless Matthews ducks meeting

As you know,I reside in Franga and the recent brutal attack on an innocent passerby had our entire community in uproar.
As well it should, I was outraged after seeing the footage. However street violence isn't comparable to on-field violence especially that which occurred back in the 70s & 80s when standards & expectations were different.

Bruns crossed a line by snitching to the police, I can't think of another player in VFL/AFL history who's done that. Maybe he was within his rights but that doesn't mean Lethal has to forgive him, or he has to forgive Lethal for throwing the punch in the first place. There's probably a lot more to the story that isn't public knowledge. Maybe Lethal just prefers to put the past behind him, who knows.

Oh for sure, things are done and said on a footy field that one couldn’t possibly get away with in normal society.
But that’s not what we are talking about here,if Leigh wants to right past wrongs,he has the opportunity,as goat,to change the vernacular and norms of violence we are so brutally accustomed to,which need to be eradicated.
It would show the greater community that time does heal all wounds and what is now acceptable and what is not!

The only real problem with this whole Matthews and Bruns saga was that the current Operations Manager of the AFL didnt permanently hurt Matthews at the time.

S. Hocking did exactly the same thing Matthews did with Bruns, squaring up for a teammate.
He was grateful Matthews is a man and not a lagging informant rat;

"Neville just wanted to go him, but couldn't, so he was muttering words through a wired-up mouth. I was on the back wall and Leigh came and stood next to me. He leant over and whispered in my ear, 'You're just along for the ride tonight'. A deep relief came over me because I knew he wasn't going to dob me in. I thought the absolute world of him; he knew he'd done the wrong thing." – Hocking.

Anyone defending Bruns is obviously a lifelong snitch who never learnt that Australia was built on the foundation that running to the authorities is an unforgivable sin.

Look kids, it's a eugenics joke. You have to be really funny to make a eugenics joke - definitely not a gutter-dwelling shit-stain, that's for darn sure.
If only eugenics were not a joke and this species had the foresight to practice it on a global scale, many of our existing problems could be solved.

Sadly we will always be held back by the most pitiably stupid among us who feel threatened by the concept for obvious reasons.

Oh no, you silly fool. The Ludovici translations are obvious farce. That is, obvious to all but the most naive readers.

Bruns did not report it to the Police. The orders came from the very top to start an investigation. The victim did not have to co-operate for the matter to go to court. The video footage was enough evidence to lay charges. Whether it held up in court or on appeal is a different matter.

Gutless sniper Neville Bruns should organise a meeting with all the players he hit during his otherwise forgettable footy career.
e.g. Michael Tuck in the first half of the 1985 game vs Hawthorn that Matthews later "got even" with him
e.g. Robert DiPierdomenico in 1989 Grand Final when 2 of his teammates held Dipper down while Bruns laid into him
Many many more...

Lethal wanted nothing to do with him because Bruns was a hypocritical flog who sooked it up and broke the players code. Bruns was happy to belt opponents when they weren't looking, but he cried like a little bitch when he was on the receiving end.

It was 33 years ago. Ancient history. Matthews has moved on. Burns hasn't.
The incident defines his life. He is the answer to a trivia question. LOL.

Pwnd.
Broke the player’s code?
When the Victoria police decided to charge Matthews of their own accord, Bruns argued that it should have been dealt with by the VFL and not the magistrates court.
Stop talking shit.
Matthews was a great player, but he is also responsible for the biggest dog’s act in the history of the game.
Hawforn fans are easily the most deluded, too many people say it for it to be a coincidence

He won’t because he can’t look him in the eye.
Was a shit act and it still haunts him

It's not like he was captain and kicked out of the club by the rest of the team

You’re better than that....knock it off

View attachment 539888 To all the Hawforn flogs who claim Bruns ran to the police, make sure you know your facts, not that it really matters in here...
I read somewhere the investigation was instigated by 1 of the most senior policemen in Victoria at the time, who also happened to be a Geelong supporter. No idea if that is in fact true.
