That is true, and I hope we select a classy mid with our first next year, but I just don't see the need for Hall if we intend to take said classy mid in the top 5 next year. We can only play so many midfielders, and spend so many draft picks on midfielders when we have numerous other deficiencies in the list.

I suppose Reid, Chesser, Ginbey and Hewett all have some versatility to their game, so perhaps we intend to rotate them through the midfield with Clay Hall operating as the inside mid constant they revolve around.

In that case, I'd have preffered we used Ginbey in that supporting role for the the other 3 (plus the eventual classy/skillful mid), and used this pick to address another need (take your pick).
