I heard a guy pushing a shopping trolley outside the Melbourne Town Hall mutter the exact same speech.
If they fall below 50/50 this year he's gone.
No it is the indented culture of them all."I walk away as incredibly proud of our boys"
And that's why they will never get anywhere with this guy in charge.
If you judge it this way you are just as effective as David King.
The last three weeks are a better way to look at it. Place blame on the leadership team on the field or in the coaches box. Be ruthless and spark the fire. Hide it and talk to playing well for three quarters keeps 30 years of ineptness going.
Face responsibility or forever be consigned to mediocrity.
Blame the players or the coaching staff.
Acknowledging the better team distracts from the core issue.
Nothing will change.
Will be business as usual.
Cotchin will avoid all scrutiny and continue on his merry way earning 700k a year running around getting cheap dinky stats.
Noone cares.
Still patting yourself on the back for being 'stable'?Totally agree. For the good of his career he should do a Ross Lyon and start again to ruin another club.
You should be more worried about how your pathetic club performed today, absolutely smashed by a bottom side.Nothing will change.

Heck, Camporeale managed to win a final in a 11 game stint.

I think the Tigers have taken this whole 'good clubs dont sack coaches' thing a bit too far....
I think maybe the pendulum has swung too far the other way.....
Some kind of over compensating psychology at play....
Being shit and stable is no different to being shit and not stable.
The objective isnt stability - it is being good.
I think maybe you have the 'cause and effect' round the wrong way.
Success leads to stability.
Not the other way around.
Hardwick has to go. Cotchin has to go.
What do you think of the rumour of Clarcko coming in? Says he fancies a developing team but not a full rebuild.I think you misread my post.
Like Lyon, Hardwick has not shown that when it's time to show some true spirit, the coaching or leadership team can be inspired to go all the way.
It's time to be ruthless.
Forget the nearly there rep of a Hardwick or a Lyon and go with a coach with some balls to get it done. I'm glad he only has one year on his contract - some coaches have another 3-4 left for no other reason but reputation. Bad business.
Hardwick needs to take responsibility.
Otherwise Richmond, like Freo, will resort to blaming bad kicking in a quarter (or other inane things) as a reason they didn't progress to ultimate success.
Hardwick goes this year if they don't make finals. I didn't have them in the Eight by a long mile before the season began. That they have been close in 3 of 4 losses means nothing other than they have no real chance of winning no matter what the circumstances. They aren't honorable losses. They are the losses of a team that cannot win. Those results were never in doubt before any of those games began except for perhaps against Freo. Hardwick cannot survive the inevitable. If Richmond fluke it and make finals it just throws a spanner in the works. The question needs to be answered.
Will Hardwick's record ever be surpassed?

Just hope for Caracella 2018

What the hell has Ross got to do with Hardwick?
Ross has got his sides to win finals and come within a whisker of 2 flags.
He's showing good signs in their rebuild currently. Hopefully we can slag him off in 24 hours...
Huh? Maybe read the content of the response to a previous post before shooting off at a single post.
Oh, and yeah a whisker of two flags will be remembered like that in the history books right? So close.
You compared the 2 like they were similarly failed coaches.
Hardwick has been ok IMO I think their whole issue is they built a side to make the 8 basically, not to win a flag and what you see now is the result
Please sign him up for another 5 years.
Plzzzzzzzz!!!!!
Get it done Tiggy board.
