Blight only won premierships as a coach at one club.Blight. But, yes, small group
So why did he quit then? .
oh to free up soft cap space. Hahaha why didn’t he think of that when he signed his contract? What a nice bloke and the world is flat.
You‘re giving more strength to the concept he was sacked?
Their press conference reminded me of a separated couple at a mediation gathering. Felt cold as ice to me.I know nothing other than a press conference. Dimma loaded up on 2 draftees but had no on field success. Then "needed a break" Gale spoke well of Hardwick. I can only take that on face value.
you the illuminati?
Illuminate me on the truth man
Incredible bloke. I think he’s a billionaire now.
When did blight win a premiership at two clubs? He coached the scats to multiple losing grand finals and flags at Adelaide.Blight. But, yes, small group
Look at the body language of the two,at the presserTheir press conference reminded me of a separated couple at a mediation gathering. Felt cold as ice to me.
Nope Gale always backed him , but not this time. It looked like they couldn’t wait to get out of that presser. The press conference was where all the juicy bits came out of.
Yep no love there my friend.Look at the body language of the two,at the presser
Before I read all the responses telling me I’m wrong. Obviously, I am. Just realised.Blight. But, yes, small group
If we make the finals this year under Mini, less people would complain and forgot about Dimma lolHardwick felt his messages weren’t reaching the playing group with the same effect as they used to and as such he was struggling with the motivation to do the work to form those messages (his job)
That could be called burn out, could be called the early stages of losing the playing group. Doesn’t really matter what you call it. In the end it was best for him to stand aside but at no point could anyone have thought he’d be gone from the industry forever
The only variation to the story is the conspiracy theories being thrown up as to why Hardwick left. Instead of taking the man at his word, where he said that he had tried everything he could to get us back to being a genuine premiership contender and it had become clear to him that it wasn't working, so he walked away, rather than doing what you and other seem to be suggesting and staying until his contract ended or the club actually sacked him.He did say he was basically burnt out.
He said "the comp has gotten so even & its all gotten a lil bit too hard for me"
What more do you want us to hear before we take it as " he was burnt out"
Seriously, had can their be this much variation in this story? Its clear as ******* day whats happened. people need to remove themselves from sitting on the 3-peat pole & move on to the future, quick smart. Reality is here. Its time to move and shake & break the cord between us and The suns coach, Dimma.
This has always been what i have been talking about folks. Its happening. It's real. We need to be "Richmond First" people ASAP and stop gold clapping a guy who is going to be coaching AGAINST US next season
Yeah he did, because he could see that everything he was trying to get the playing list to respond and rebound back to being a genuine contender wasn't working. As he said in his presser, he had always told Gale that once he knew his time was done, he wouldn't hang around and would walk away, so that's what he did, and yet for some reason, there are a group of posters who just can't seem to accept that is what has happened and continue to throw up conspiracy theories.Hardwick went to see Gale the morning after the Essendon match and said "put a fork in me, i'm done".
The only ones being dumb are the ones spouting their conspiracy theories about why Hardwick quit despite facts that disprove those theories. Before you ask for them, I've posted them previously so go back and re-read them or continue to ignore them and keep making yourself look foolish with your conspiracy theories.yeah i can't be assed trying to debate the obvious with people who want to remain dumb & numb anymore.
If he didn't quit mid-contract for burnout - what exactly was his reasoning? How about for once you *******s find a quote that supports YOUR argument instead of constantly asking for "more data" yourselves.
The idea Dimma quit to help Richmond and "throw himself on the sword" is absolutely laughable. No one in their right mind could possibly believe that.
Maybe Mini was the real genius all along any good tradesman knows the key to success is to have a gun apprentice who can do all the work while the tradesman does **** all and pays them below award rateIf we make the finals this year under Mini, less people would complain and forgot about Dimma lol
I've never done anything like coach an AFL team but its highly paid, you get sacked if not successful. Hardwick said in May he "needs a break" Coming back to Richmond was one possibility but 2 months into his break, mid July, Dew gets sacked and Hardwick's name mentioned by the press as a replacement.
Hardwick has not been appointed Suns coach.
I don't Hardwick's mind. If he's keen on a fresh challenge. Trying to get success out of the suns?! I watch with interest
Maybe Mini was the real genius all along any good tradesman knows the key to success is to have a gun apprentice who can do all the work while the tradesman does * all and pays them below award rate
I was merely being sarcastic I just forgot to throw in a emoji to make it clearSo are you saying that Dimma was just a pretty face and our new coach Mini is the real genius behind our 3 flags success???
* i love reading you guys flop around like fish off a hook on the deck of the trawler. No matter what our current situation is - you guys have the narrative covered !
I played junior footy against Terry Keays in the Diamond Valley league back in the day. He had all the talent in the world. Debuted for the Pies at the age of 16, ended up at the Tiges then disappeared into obscurity. A classic case of a waste of talent.Pick four for Terrance Keays
Pick four was Jason McCartney
Was there the day he debuted for the Pies against us at VFL Park on Easter Monday 1987. We were 39 points up at three quarter time, conceded the first goal in the last, but kicked the second to go 40 points up.I played junior footy against Terry Keays in the Diamond Valley league back in the day. Always wondered if Ben Keays who plays for the Crows is related to Terry. Strong resemblance. Well, Terry is his uncle. Was there the day he debuted for the Pies against us at VFL Park on Easter Monday 1987. Ended up getting rolled by 10 points.
Same year we coughed up big leads against West Coast and Sydney in the firts few rounds.
Had huge hopes for Keayesy when he kicked 12 in two weeks against Fitzroy and Footscray in 1991 and three a couple of weeks later v Carlton.
The majority of Tigers love him.Dimma brings out the best in the Suns. Perfect match.
I'll still give the guy a standing ovation when he steps onto the turf next, regardless of which team he's coaching.
Here is one for you, We all love Dimma for being apart of our 3 premierships.
- What will everyones opinion of Hardwick be if he takes GC and makes them successful.
- Also how will his standing in the game be if GC Fail under his leadership.
