I agree with you that this has the potential to damage relationships at the football club. However, frankly, what Damien Hardwick does in the privacy of his own bedroom is none of your business. It's none of my business. It's no-one's business but his own. If they are adults, and not children, they should (and must) be able to get on with the job for which they are very well paid. And the sooner we as a society step away from the puritanical wowserism that seems to have crept in, thanks to the progressive woke cancel culture types, the better.

As a general rule mate, how about focus on your own life and try and get that right rather than judge others in the way they conduct their private affairs.

The club is now inclusive, people are accepted from all walks of life and regardless of their fitting of what people otherwise may see as the required stereo type , which includes religious or ethnic beliefs or upbringing .The club cares about its people and accepts not all people live by the same rules or been brought up in the same manner or situation . RFC has the most successful indigenous program , the most renowned and respected muslin sportsperson in the country , a person who had previously been in jail who debuted in a AFL Grand final and selected a draftee who grew up with openingly gay Mums .
5-10 years ago many would have slayed the club for making such decisions . Now we are applauded and everyone is trying to copy our inclusiveness .
I will not be at all surprised if this elevates the club to a even higher level and if it does , Gill might as well hand over the keys .
