Can you actually explain the relevance here? If anything winning a grand final without a game at the G for Dimma would have made his life easier.

Much easier to cheat on your wife & kids when they are in a different state and your mistress is stuck in a closed hub with you. No wonder he was relieved to get himself into the hub - would have created a nice little bubble for him to live with his dishonesty to his family - a nice veil of confusion to help hide his actual reality

The New bird wasn't in the hub at all, it's already been reported she only went through Darwin (with other employees I might add) to be there for finals

She is a good friend to the Hardwicks - refer to them as her second family - she has every right to be involved. Dimma has a lot more to answer for. He might want to be on a lil holiday right now, but stiff sh*t mate. You need to get out and clean up your mess

Dimma's actions effected his family, her actions led to fines imposed, taken out of the Soft cap which could potetnially lead to someone losing their job, hence she effected someone elses live... pretty on par tbh...

Infact, have you ever got a speeding ticket... one could say you were actually putting someone elses LIFE in danger by speeding, which would be worse than the above two. The reality is, we all make life decisions, quite often they are not ones others want us to make, and people are left hurt, doesn't mean people don't have the right to make those choices (even if they are considered the wrong choices)...

End of the day, once it was established they didn't work in the smae area of the club, it simply is a personal matter and whilst everyone will have an opinion, the reality is, most peoples opinions don't matter...

ive written a bit on a short time on this so i will put one more down before i wrap it up for a bit ( still taking it all in, mind is quite blown right now..).

My disappointment in Dimma is pretty obvious and my importance of the culture over flags is maybe unique compared to other supporters, but as a counter to all this i will say this - Despite all the ethical questions about Dimma the person right now & how that affects the playing group & club culture moving forward - it is unquestionably a absolute credit to both Dimma, his wife, the Cotchins & the entirte playing group to how much they all love and respect this club in the way that despite this & all the other distractions we had in 2020, that they managed to win the flag.

Dimma's love and passion for the club is not whats on trial here & it never should be. Also the conversations of having "pride in the jumper", one which was repeated for near 40 years when breaking down our failures - is no longer an issue.

To win the flag as a group in 2020 with all the distractions, while also keeping this one underground too is a real credit to the the club as a whole - however, now its out, we need to deal with it.

Dimmas role should be judged on the KPI that surround the senior coach, not ones that would be more appropriate for the Pope . Sure if he’s done something unlawful then it needs to be dealt with , however let’s not pretend we are anything other than a player in the sports and entertainment industry with our organisation bound by Fair work Aust laws none of which would support terminating employment in this case.

The more I think about this story and the events of the past 18 months at the club, I cant help but think success has gone to the head of more than a few of our blokes, Dimma included. The line between confidence & arrogance has been blurred on & off the field for some of them & we need to be very careful how we move forward with our brand as a club. We are a Didak away from being Collingwood. They even had a poor mans Dusty in Damian Swan, & a poor mans version of Dimma in Buckley

I know some people want to think that Dimma's sex life means naught about winning flags - but the club is on the brink of being the most cashable brand in Australian sport. The brand of the club is paramount to us having decades of success that result in many Dynasty's, not just this one. The narrative this story is showing atm appears that Dimma & this staff member had been having an affair for at least 12 months, while leading their partners on non the wiser. So much so that the staff member had just purchased a $1.2m house with her fellow AFL employed partner in May 2019 - basically this chick purchased a house with this guy, while she was engaged in an affair.

Dimma's side of the coin doesn't look much better. He had been speaking glowingly about his wife, marriage and family for years as "People" being the backbone to our clubs success & culture. All the while, he was having an affair with a woman 15 years younger who oddly looks like a younger version of his current wife. His wife appeared to be none the wiser also, until catching him out during the hub, around May - June this year. Another victim to accidently Zoom calling? who knows.. 6 months later Dimma and this chick are living together.

At this point in proceedings, Dimma is looking like the biggest "left is best" bullshit artist going round, as 2-faced as a Clinton or Ellen "Not So" DeGeneres. Preaching the power of people and brotherly love & respect to our young playing group while it is open knowledge to many at the club knew he was involved with the young Sales rep. Unless Dimma is David Letterman, he or the brand is toast

For all we know Dimma emotionally checked out of the relationship several months ago. What if he told Danielle he wants out before leaving for the hub, but she convinced him to wait until after the season before making anything official? Not really moving on so quickly if that’s the case.

Sure, that’s making a lot of assumptions, but it’s just about as many as any other theory/claim out there. Besides, Dimma was clearly not in a good headspace during the initial footy shutdown. Not hard to believe it was because he was ECO at home.
