Winston was so talented. I saw him take a mark horizontally at head height near the point post at Subiaco. He shouldn't have been anywhere near the ball. Umpire couldn't believe what he saw either and didn't pay the mark.

But the Wiz was something even more.

Fyfe isn't just talent, he is willpower and brute strength. Maybe talent is something you can grow over time.

Yeah but how good was Stuart Anderson.

I came across Winston strolling the Bunbury foreshore in 2006,dressed top to tail in Dockers gear.

I'm glad to read this. Last time I saw him he was still firmly in the North Melbourne camp.

What a waste. I remember when he burst on the scene I thought he was a mini Carey. Did absolutely nothing for us. Sylvia mk1.

Granted he's probably comfortably enjoying his time off - but all the other clubs supporters have been enjoying their clubs unveiling of their new trade signings, I'd have liked to see something more say, along the lines of a club interview or even a fresh pic of him in a dockers jersey. I don't think there's been anything of the sort since the trade was finalised.

Take this with a pinch of salt but someone on a Facebook footy group reporting Bennell was doing sprints with Son Son at Freo oval on the weekend.
Ill take that pinch of salt. For what it is worth my cousin is a Gold Coast supporter and he gets down to watch training now and then. He said that Bennell has always been one of the hardest trainers he has seen. I dont think it will be a case of him coming into preseason underdone like Sylvia did.

I had a sinking feeling as I read the words 'someone on a Facebook footy group reporting Bennell was doing....' but it turned to pure joy only 7 letters later. Hope it's true!

Was fortunate to be back home in Perth visiting my family last week...stopped by Freo as always & saw Son Son, Johnno & I think Griff doing laps & run throughs on the oval...didn't see Bennell though...Mora popped out for a bit too from the gym...

Harley will be in good company with these boys getting stuck in it early for hopefully a big 2016...great to see :)

That's music to my ears. A fully fit uninjured Bennell pushing forward with Fyfe when Mundy has ball in hand would be a pleasure to watch.
