Think it's a good get. Probably getting paid more than market rate for a player of his ability but you always have to overpay for a free agent. He has midfield ambitions and hasn't had a shot in a stacked Giants midfield so would be interesting to see how he performs in the middle for the Pies.

Pies like a number of clubs has cleared their cap issues so can sign long term, pay a large chunk up front and then pay a reasonable amount over the latter years when he may be in deline.
Will be a lot of this as clubs look to clear banked space in the cap. Lot of Vic clubs re in this category and will look to raid the big spending interstate clubs. The gorilla in the room is West Coast, they are a very rich club and will be offering big deals in due course.

You need to follow a club like mine, no one comes no matter how much we offer, makes life pretty simple at this time of year.
