This is a geelong thread, but your asking me quistions about Tasmania and I'm "deflecting' lol nice try 😅😂
Geelong's been playing home games at Kardinia Park since 1941, it's a pertinent point to ask someone who thinks it's unfair for Geelong to be playing in Geelong how they sit with their own Melbourne-based(loosely at the minute) club playing their home games interstate as of the 21st century. As if that wasn't degrading enough, having a completely different state plastered on the guernsey is almost a social experiment to see how low one is willing to go in the name of cash.:tearsofjoy:

Pains me to say it, but Geelong are a big chance for the flag this year. Older yes, but very experienced and likely able to turn it up when the intensity lifts for finals and control the game. I would tip them over a lot of sides who they might face and who lack the experience in that atmosphere. You also have Sydney who aren't exactly hitting form at the right time.

I do think though it's pretty wide open though and the top 4 will all be a big chance. Port are going really well and are a bit under the radar.

Anyway, if Geelong do go all the way, then yes they are probably too powerful.

I do stand by my arguments. Gmhba is a shit ground. What's is predictable though is if someone mentions GMHBA, Cats fans get very sensitive about the subject.
Thoughts on Hawthorn(Melbourne) playing home games at the dump that is York Park(Tasmania)? You keep avoiding that question for some reason. A sensitive subject perhaps?

Why wouldn’t we.

The notion of grown adults making excuses because 22 other grown adults get ‘beaten’ by the shape of a ground and a line not going where they think it should go is primary school level analysis.

They’re professional footballers who spend their lives from the moment they are 17-18 training to kick, mark, hand pass, tackle, and follow instructions yet a boundary line defeats them and not the opposition?

Seems like a cop out to me.

Was fine for decades for teams to lose fair and square at Subiaco or Waverley despite the former being very similar in shape and dimensions to KP, and the latter being obscenely different to most grounds in size.

Seems strange that suddenly in the most professional era of all, players are suddenly unable to make an adjustment or have their 20-strong coaching staff set out some plastic cones at training when they see Geelong on the draw

How many times have you been there in recent years? Given that we always play the hawks at the g, I’m guessing not many? Come on down- it’s actually beautiful.
