once again nearly everyone played a great game, this time i felt Brand was a bit down

Selwood trying to get Sicily suspended just shows what kind of douche that guy is

Impey is starting to believe he belongs, every time he is near Rioli he looks inspired to do something special which means he must admire Rioli a lot

our running group of Smith, Impey and Henderson is really dangerous, between them they got a nice bag of goals in both rounds

Roughead stepping up after half time to lead us to victory was a big effort (gunston did the same in the first half) and good to see him use his frustration at the umpiring (against him)to just clunk a few marks and grab the game by the scruff of the neck

Mitchell did well again, 4 really bad clangers, but when you get 40 poss you can live with a clanger or 4 as long as they dont hurt you on the rebound

O'Meara looked really good and really improves the midfield group, the umps give him a bit of love too i noticed

Richmond is our nemesis even moreso than Geelong so im not expecting a win, but the way this team is chugging along, anything is possible

we are spoilt for options, we have the likes of Glass, Morrison and Worpel just waiting for more opportunity.

You’re misinterpreting what he was saying. He meant he’s the ‘wrong’ bloke in that he’s the kind of guy who will react to those sorts of altercations, and was implying had it been someone else maybe their reaction would have been less and there wouldn’t have been so much attention drawn to it. He was playing it down a bit for Sicily’s sake.

I think you have mistaken this for the Geelong board - nobody here (except Bradkli) is remotely interested in you defending the virtues of your s**tstain of a captain.

If someone can send me the same video as a URL format i can do it.

And then would you be able to post it on the main board thread? There's a few geelong supporters who want "evidence of playing for free kicks"

Selwood on the Sicily incident...

"He probably picked the wrong bloke to do it to too, because I don't react too well to a lot of things like that."

You ******* w***er...shit-eating, self-righteous, ******* cheating ******* w***er. Just **** off. What a ******* hero

Sic could probably say the same thing about Duckwood's initial actions in that exchange!

Pretty much everything has been said in this thread. One thing I will say is in game and post match you can see the difference in the cultures of each club.

Their coach, their captain and so called superstars spend the majority of the time playing for frees and complaining if a decision doesn't go how they want it to.

Meanwhile our coach and our players just get on with the job. No sooking, no tantrums in the coaches box unless its frustration at something one of our players does even if we are 5 goals up.

I know which side I'd rather be on.

You know the umpiring was extra appalling when two mates who hate Hawthorn ring to tell you the umpires robbed you. Never happened
before and l've known them for 40 years.

The thing that really shits me Lucky is the fact that the AFL must know how bad the umpiring was, but absolutely nothing will change. Talk about transparency, there is none when the subject is their precious umpires, they're a protected species.

No, Selwood was trying to draw attention to it to ensure that Sicily copped a punishment. He could have just said “there was nothing in it”, couldn’t he, but Selwood is a turd.

I’m upset at Sicily for being selfish in getting in the first hit on Selwood when his Hawk teammates wanted their chance as well.

It’s a team game, James, give your teammates a go!

Cannot stand duckwood and cannot believe he sooked it up about sis. I recall a few contests between duckwood and T.Mitchell and it was getting pretty intense and after a couple i saw duckwood deliberately sit on Mitchells head as he was on the ground. I was furious at the time, was wondering if anybody else picked up on it or i was just looking at it through blind hatred?? Mitchell stayed down for abit after it aswell.

Check out the old campainger's 'Team of the Week'. It's good for a laugh...

I must be naive, stupid, or just have no idea on how the game of football is played.
From my vantage point I don't think Dangerfield or Ablett had an enormous influence on the game.
Yes, they had minor cameos in the last qtr but each was caught with ball in hand many times or simply
outplayed.

Then to have T Mitchell on the bench, god bligh me.

Lucky this d!ck aint a fireman, he wouldn't know where to point the hose.

Slobbo didn’t once mention Selwood pulling Sicily down as he’s about to run away.
I must be looking at this with my Hawthorn glasses on, but Selwood instigated this and got what he deserved.
Not angry at Sicily at all, you wanna stop a bloke from running, which is illegal by the rules, then you will cop something, this time it was a knee. Wear it you filthy campaigner.

Slobbo would be better first one to look the other way if Buddy did the same thing to Sicily.

"ah yeah ya dont want the stars missing games over something Sis brought upon himself."

Hes a sanctimonious twat

Just rename them The Holy Turnovers.
The best one was with 2 minutes to go, Selwood picks out Duryea, he goes short to Smith, Roughie takes the mark, and the Hawks are in front.

Thanks, Joel, your kicking is not as refined as your ducking!
