This is my annual trip to Melbourne for a weekend so it is easy to get ahead. Hell, I was excited on my 2004 trip which consisted of the Hawks, the Power, the 'G', an ass raping and 11,000 screaming fans

So how far ahead can you book tix to games?
My (very stupid) father is a bomber and wants to come down from Wodonga for the Rnd 11 game with several other (very stupid) family members and one (very sensible) mate of his.
Thought you had to wait till 3-4 weeks out.
Any assistance here would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I'd like to know the answer too. I'm going with a colleague from work who is rabid Geelong. I was thinking I could get in on my membership, but if things go the way they are, then the match could end up being all ticketed. Don't want to miss out!

Essendon home games at the Dome are all fully ticketed, so they go on sale at the start of the season.

This may actually be worthy of its own thread, just to let people know - including people who have 16 game memberships and so on, you still need a designated seat.

We all need to get tickets early to ensure we'll be in.

Jeez. I just booked tickets for Tassie the week afterwards. Going for golf and then the 16 of us are going to the Bris game.
Maybe we should just extend the trip by a week and start with this "Game of the Century"
