Pretty much this. Parts of the media have been shooting down our chances for years, saying we're "too old, too slow", etc. If you're good enough then you will win tonight, full stop. The media can't play the game for you.

Speak to cats supporters directly and see what their view is. They beleive they have been too inconsistent this year to look any further than week 1 of finals against Freo. It's going to be tough for Geelong to even make the grand final let alone win it
