The review system is obviously working well. The umpire originally thought it was a goal but not 100% so after a lengthy considered review from multiple angles showing quite clearly that it missed the arms of the north player they changed it to a point. Working perfectly.......NOT

Don't know if you have played the game yourself, but if you have, try to remember what your legs feel like at that stage of a game. Especially when you play in a position where you run for most of the game.

I get what your saying, wasn't meaning to discredit Sammy's lack of effort, of all people.
It just seems to me, that he often doesn't want to kick for goal, and then what eventuated was a nothing kick, which North rebounded quickly.

Anyway, I remember his chase from 1 wing all the way to the back flank on the other side of the ground, far out his little legs can pump out some speed, he may have only got 7 possies but far out I love his work ethic

Guerra actually did a better job on Thomas than Thompson did on Buddy.
Thomas only had 3 touches plus 3 soft free kicks, the problem is that Thomas kicked 5.1 and Buddy kicked 0.5. If you said before the game that Guerra would limit Thomas to 6 touches you would think Guerra would just about be b.o.g

Poor comparison, Thomas had more shots on goal in a losing team, yet you are saying if Frankling kicked straight then Guerra would have done a better job then what Thompson did on Franklin. No logic.

Anyone know why North supporters have this overwhelming urge to be recognised? Majak Daw is amazing, Thompson is the best full back this century. Blah blah blah.

Thomas had one of the worst 5 goal games I have ever seen. He had six disposals for 5.1, including 3 that came from free kicks. If his accuracy was like Buddy's, he would have probably been worst on ground.

Don't think there is anything wrong with that. The deficiencies were pretty obvious. But I'd rather they invest their time in getting the strategy right for Adelaide than disect how and why we won against North.
