Wouldn't be surprised if they give Shiels a couple of weeks to build up his match fitness again. Would be difficult for him to get up to match speed against Sydney, then have a bye.

I don't see them dropping Hallahan, either. He's a clearance player and that'll be needed against Sydney, especially if Mitchell is an omission through injury.

Hallahan would only drop out if Shiels was available. He has done well for mine, and would only come out if a better player was available.

Don't hold your breath. The guys are premiership team mates and there is a bond much greater than any of us will ever understand. I understand there is no animosity among the playing group and that's what free angency is all about. Yes he might get a little rough treatment but nothing outside the laws of the game.
