Autopsy Hawks vs The Doggies

Is the game worth downloading? Comments would suhhest it is not, but a win is a win.
Don't care what the experts say. $hitme were written off after three rounds, next they were all hot for Port. That followed a frenzy for Freo, followed by all in love for $hitme. All the time we were winning with half a team. I will be happy for the experts to continue their love in with everything non-Hawthorn.

Just watch the last quarter, to see us bury em!

McEvoy's marking around the ground was a good sight to see but Hale looked ordinary at best . Suckling played well. An even contribution.

Though the commentary was frustrating it's simply the fact that the media are kinda bored with how good we are and always try to pump up the opposition so viewers stay watching thinking they have a chance. Bruce's overused cliche "the next goal is really important" could be used as a drinking game but you'd be guaranteed to get paralytic

Channel 7 must have had trouble prying Darcy's lips from most of the Bulldogs players.

All I know from him is Tom Campbell is the next Tippett, Libba is the best player under 23 and Morris and Murphy are the best players ever.
Must be why they've enjoyed so much & sustained success...

Very very ugly win. It seemed quite a few were switched off from the first bounce. Bulldogs really butchered their opportunities.

Gunston is a real worry and despite running the boundary, he looked despondent on the the bench and singing the club song. I suspect he'll be out for a few weeks which is not ideal for his or our finals preparation.
:(

Did Tim Watson dump all his media mates & jump on board the HFC Bus at the end of the game (telecast)? I thought it was Watson that gave us a big pump-up before he was again drowned out by the $ydney talk.

Very even performance again.

Besides Shoe having minimal impact (and I'm a fan), Hill the only concern. Seems reluctant to back himself. Must still be getting back to full fitness.

Really impressed with our run late. Looking extremely fit.

We'll rest another few blokes next week and pants Melbourne.

I'll give the Bulldogs a lot of credit. They worked hard and were very disciplined to not let Hill get space and use his pace to full effect. They also pressured him to not be able to kick effectively off the right boot as he doesn't have a left boot to kick with as yet.

Hill works best when Mitchell and Smith are in the side. Mitchell gets clean clearances to set Hill in space and Smith helps to draw the opponent's attention away from him.

I could take the 'commentators are sick of Hawthorn winning' argument if they didn't collectively suck on Geelong and Sydney's proverbials long and hard each week. It's frustrating to listen to them gush about those two teams and yet seemingly act bored with our success and spend the whole game pumping up the other team's tyres.

Heard a bit of Sewelly on MMM yesterday. He sounds good on the mic - hopefully 7 poach him post-retirement so we get someone Hawthorn-partial on the TV.

When Watson was pumping us up did it give you a boner? Especially knowing that he hates us, resents us and did not mean it at all!

I give up.

muted the game 2 mins into the 3rd quarter only to turn it back on with 5 mins left in the game.

was actually ok, and don't believe I would have missed any pearls of wisdom.

As far as the game goes, burgers did some classy work (but probably was in 1st gear for the majority), Langford had a huge game...helped destroy cooney and then when he was subbed, langers got off the leash and started his collection of clearance highlights in the last.

Umpiring was woeful. Doggies were great in patches, the scoreline flattered us. Shoey subbed.. not looking good for the lad. Roughy had a day out, seems to be the case when Gunner and Breust are quiet. Here's hoping the former hasn't done a tendon. Happy with a solid win and top of the ladder, though it didn't feel like an overly satisfying win.

Nah, I'll save that for the day he acknowledges Sam Mitchell's 2012 Brownlow Medal win

I thought the umpiring was great but being at the game you do miss a lot.

Schoey was terrible, Litherland & Hale not great either. Hill was worked over and Breust had Picken tailing him all day.

Gunston rolled his ankle from what I saw.

Not a heap of positives...Gibson was huge, Birchall very instrumental and Roughead dominant. Great to see Langford scrapping constantly again. McEvoy was huge as well.
