Adolph (Adi) and Rudolph(Rudi)Dassler were in fact both card carrying members of the Nazi party!

If their first names weren't a giveaway the naming of some of their soccer lines as 'Kampf' and 'Blitz' during the war probably was.

Rudolph was particularly fortunate to escape justice from the Americans who investigated him for being a member of the SS.

I'm the super minority here. I always bought Skechers shoes. It's very comfortable especially when you need to stand and walk alot. I can clock on 10k steps easily at Chadstone SC and not feeling anything.

Bit sad reading some of the post but everyone entitled to their opinion. I know nothing about style, as long as they have no ethical issues I'm good with any brand.

I don't give a frig what oppo supporters would say about our club, I love our club our poo n wee colours and if sketchers or whoever make make stuff for us that I like I'll support our club n buy their gear.

I read somewhere recently that Skechers was the fastest growing footwear company in the US, and that they ranked 5 or 6 (by revenue) in the world a year or 2 ago.
I visited a couple of Skechers stores in the US in May/June this year, and while I didn’t buy anything I noted that the customers in the store were mostly teens or folk in their 20’s.
Their gear might be more activewear than sports wear, but if the club engaged with them then I’d personally watch it for a year or 2 and see how it plays out.
It could prove to be a very smart marketing move over time.

In my opinion it's a St. Kilda level decision to make. I hope our gear looks good, and I would love to be proven wrong, but on face value, it kinda sucks.

Here in Europe, Skechers' are mostly worn by 35-50 year Olds. They are comfy and good fit for wide feet but the shoes DO get worn out pretty quickly. And they are ' definitely ' cheaper option than the big 3! Their sports apparel for younger generation sucks though.

And one other thing I loved with the Adidas merch over the years. The Hawthorn training shorts with zip pockets, zip pockets are awesome (less chance of wallets falling out!). I've purchased many pairs over the years from the 2013 design, to 2015 when they switched to neutral colours and again later when they reverted back to brown and gold. Best shorts ever!!
