I
Freo are with Sekem this year.

The first batch of Essendon Under Armour gear was just old stock from the previous supplier with the UA logo chucked over the top. In the second season when they started manufacturing it themselves it was much better quality.

Richmond and Carlton's gear looks great on Puma.

New Balance doing some underrated work with Melbourne also.

Only ones I have no interest in are Castore (they botched West Coast), Classic and Cotton On.

NIKE took forever to supply new Collingwood gear so I wouldn't mind avoiding them either.
I think this years Essendon jersey is the best one they’ve ever had . I’d love to see us go left field be the first ever to have Kappa .

Oz child.
My first guernsey had HFC Finance but was old stock as Oz Child at the time was now the new sponsor. I remember purchasing from the club via mail order the new patch and getting my mum to sow the new one on. Seems funny now looking back to wanting to update the sponsor logo on your guernsey.

Oz Child have an office not far from where I live and everytime I drive past it I get reminded of the Hawks.

Doesn't seem funny to me. How many people buy a new jumper every few years when the only difference is a sponsor?

There could be a myriad of reasons to buy a new jumper. Worn out/damaged/soiled, you want a second, grown out of it, slight change to the design (including sponsor) etc.

But I'm talking about specifically purchasing a replacement sponsor patch on an already existing guernsey. Think about is this way, your essentially buying advertisement nothing else.

Talking about patches and old guernseys and whatnot - how's this for a bit of Hawthorn History ? :p

Should sew it into the current guernsey I have haha jk

I think back in the Vickick days you could get the patches and sew them on yourself, wasn't until the 90's where the guernseys were able to be purchased with sponsors etc on them ? I know I had completely plain long sleeve and short sleeve Hawthorn guernseys that I wore on Saturday mornings.

That's the one! I was mixing up HFC Finance with Household Finance. Pretty sure I still have that patch somewhere.

My guernsey would of been brought probably in 1993 which is the same year Oz Child took over sponsorship from Household Finance and had that patch pre-sewn in.

Interesting, Macron would have been good. Are we potentially the first team skechers have done ?.
Skechers wants to grow their apparel division along with their footwear.
I believe the Hawks are the first club to sign!
Skechers have also presented to other Victorian clubs.

Are we really signing with Skechers??? Surely not !!! I thought that was a joke .Does that mean the players have to wear their low rent bogan style shoes off the field?? Very disappointing and a terrible decision if this is the case .

The Skechers financial offer was the biggest also. Marcon thought they had the Hawks over the line.
This deal was done around June! For the club it’s a very good financial deal…

Judging by the shoes in their catalogue it would want to be a big offer ! I’m obviously not a professional sportsman but I wouldn’t wear any of their stuff if it was free or if I was paid money there’s got to be a line you don’t cross it would be like wearing “ Gaze” brand of basketball shoes .
In all seriousness though we mustn’t be regarded as a real marketable team anymore if none of the big players like Puma , Nike or NB etc want to touch us .

Skechers seem to be trying to expand a bit - however their athletic endorsements seem limited to golfers at present and they aren't doing kit manufacturing anywhere in the world that I can see. Would be intriguing to say the least.
