I could be reading too much into it but Ceglar's omission from the Melbourne game suggests he may be playing elsewhere next year. Shame because our forwardline has looked most potent recently with him clunking marks inside 50, and if anything he's underrated as a ruckman.

With the development of Worpel & Morrison I'm almost inclined to think our greatest immediate need is a capable gorilla forward rather than another elite midfielder. The less reliant we are next year on Schoenmakers, O'Brien and dare I say Roughy the happier I'll be. Nash & Lewis may develop into quality KPFs or they may not, and there's very little contested marking power elsewhere on the list aside from McEvoy & Sicily. They could swing Sicily forward but he'd get ragdolled by the #1 defender and is only 186cm. Perhaps that's why Clarko was desperate enough to play Nash in both finals to speed his development, he at least has the height & size to become that player we need.

I don't think so. He didn't play very well against the Tigers and I think the club believes McEvoy performs better as the single ruckman with assistance from Roughead/Schoenmakers.

We can get both. You can pitch very well for both if need be.

Mark Stevens mentionnon 7 news a month ago that we were into Cogs as a Burgoyne replacement for next year. Those tears last night were quite interesting I must say. Hadn’t seen tears like that since I took encryption out of my Flemington quaddie at the last minute yesterday

Hahaha interesting times. the carlton forums are a buzz that there getting cogs. It Looks like both players are talking to both clubs at this stage.

Ceglar didn't play for Box Hill either today. Papers stamped?

The Carlton board believe they are signing every player even remotely rumoured to be moving. Delusion is on tap there.

Carlton as a club and their supporters are full of shit! Always have been always will.
Giving shit clubs PP in the first two rounds should not be allowed, I mean, the well run clubs cop a smack so that shit clubs benefit !!! Also, another rule that should be tabled is, you cannot trade away your PP!! if you so desperately want it, then you draft a youngster with it.

Did you watch BH ?? We have some very good kids. Moore, Ollie H, Lewis, Jiath. TOB and Brand excellent down back. So to Pitts. Hope we rookie Andrew Moore.
I don’t get how our frwds are only good in defense? This has to change if we wanna improve our I50 work.

Theres a few forwards down there that could go forward Burton and Hardwick and Sicily occasionally if they could find replacements for them with other forwards

Ah ha we that eases the pain a little. I just looked it up his oldman played 89 games for us which sux. Oh well :-(
Anderson only playing 83 games for us is going to hurt us a lot more ,in next years draft .
Noah Anderson is the projected number 1 pick

He just lose a semi and left it all out on the field, he knows chances like that are a rarity in life.. I don’t get the crying for footy but I understand each person is different and it could just have really effected him.

Showing your emotions publicly is not a sign of weakness, even if it is because of a footy loss, just shows how much the guy is involved in his footy.

Very Strange isn't it when you look at burton,Sicily, hardwick, tob were all recruited as forwards what's going on?

Looking at miles, tob,cj (who I think will break into the 1's next yr ) and with birchall to come back starting to think we have a lot of depth of halfback.
Maybe we will trade someone like burton who from s.a to acquire a wingard.
