Agreed. Not all bloody doom and gloom. Disappointing yes... But we finished in the 8 and played some pretty good footy. Hopefully we see improvement from some of younger players and other players like Moore and Lewis take their chance too.

We will be alright... We have the best coach in the land. He won't sit by watching us fade into obscurity.

This is what I’ve been saying. It’s all good people want nice shiny things but bringing people into the club and paying them too highly is a recipe for disgruntled players who feel entitled to more.

Giving up a first round pick for Chad Wingard is a trade anyone would do. People have no perspective on the talent of this guy. He might be little bit thick but his instinct for the game is as unreal. His best is inside Buddy/Ablett territory.

Shiel is obviously not an average midfielder.

I agree that it would be silly to lose out on a better player such as Coniglio by throwing too much at Shiel - but there is obviously no guarantee that we will sign Coniglio next year. Why would he come over other potential suiters that will offer more money than we are willing too? Verbal commitments have proven to mean absolutely jack shite, so you can't give me that.

The only way we get anywhere Coniglio is to start bridging the gap on our core group coming through, increase the salary of those guys and then make Coniglio an offer. Bare in mind Kelly may leave too so Giants will most likely match and force a trade.

we've only used 4 since 2008, Issy and Burton the best of them. Burton has potential to be better, an Issy/Wingard comparision is difficult.

I have to agree. Pick 15 and whatever else we have to find then you do it tomorrow if you could.

Shiel vs Wingard for what they can both bring to the table is line ball except Wingard can influence games with sausage rolls.
