Not sure how true this is.
Tom Browne saying Chad Wingard will chose us tonight
So he’s staying then.@tombrowne7 expects Chad Wingard to nominate his club of choice as soon as this evening.
Would he put the Victorian powerhouse right in premiership contention?

We’re about to be Richmond...,Exactly we are in no mans land. We either cough up and pay what's required to add quality free agents/ trades or we take the long haul approach bottom out and hit the draft. I have no interest in being stuck in midtable for a decade.
KEEP YOUR CALM LOGICAL APPROACH TO YOURSELF.
WE DIDN'T GET SHIEL. NOW WE WILL DIE!
Agreed. Not all bloody doom and gloom. Disappointing yes... But we finished in the 8 and played some pretty good footy. Hopefully we see improvement from some of younger players and other players like Moore and Lewis take their chance too.Where the **** does this misery come from after what we showed this year?
This is what I’ve been saying. It’s all good people want nice shiny things but bringing people into the club and paying them too highly is a recipe for disgruntled players who feel entitled to more.Teams are cashed up after the eba rise and are desperate to spend it.
The problem is when you you start offering up overs, even if you have plenty of cap room right now, you set a standard of what your top players are worth and it makes it very hard to resign your players down the line.
Not really interested in giving up a 1st rd pick or best 22 player for Wingard.. only really would take him if he comes cheap which doesn’t sound likely..
Seems like the best course is to go to the draft.. potentially have a down year next season and go hard at Coniglio and Kelly
Mitch and Beau were beauty's.... Dreaded pick 6....We simply must get better at
Out of curiosity how many times has our 1st round pick produced a better player than Wingard in the last 10 years ?
Giving up a first round pick for Chad Wingard is a trade anyone would do. People have no perspective on the talent of this guy. He might be little bit thick but his instinct for the game is as unreal. His best is inside Buddy/Ablett territory. Not really interested in giving up a 1st rd pick or best 22 player for Wingard.. only really would take him if he comes cheap which doesn’t sound likely..

Shiel is obviously not an average midfielder.
I agree that it would be silly to lose out on a better player such as Coniglio by throwing too much at Shiel - but there is obviously no guarantee that we will sign Coniglio next year. Why would he come over other potential suiters that will offer more money than we are willing too? Verbal commitments have proven to mean absolutely jack shite, so you can't give me that.
I heard something similar not too long ago, but with different names lolBright side people... SCULLY AND WINGARD AND WE'RE RIGHT IN IT !!!
Source thanksBright side people... SCULLY AND WINGARD AND WE'RE RIGHT IN IT !!!
we've only used 4 since 2008, Issy and Burton the best of them. Burton has potential to be better, an Issy/Wingard comparision is difficult. We simply must get better at
