As much as watching us kick bulk behinds is the most frustrating thing for me, we just had around 30 shots against the 6th (I think) defense in the league away from home. They have a % of 94 for a reason, they haven't been blown away bar one game. That was a dominant performance soured by the worst Freo goal kicking since last week.

It's not like they were all from the boundary either, Sharp was kicking those ones or at least getting them to the goalline. We missed so many 70%+ shots.

Honestly, my favourite part of both this game and the Crows one (very similar) is that we didn't drop our heads despite butchering a LOT of chances. We stuck at it and ground them down. That's a huge marker for a strong mentality.

I disagree. I think it was even with neither taking the points. Just a great battle between two very good ruckmen.

I actually thought Voss did great up forward (aside from the obvious). Got himself 4 shots and played a part in a few of the others too.

Marshall got the chocolates but Jackson was so influential. I don’t have a problem with either of that. We have plenty of players we’ve gotten for cheap. They paid a s**t ton for their winger and we got ours for free.

But a forward has to do more than get possession , kicking straight is equally important.

I agree mostly but if we could of swapped Walters amd Emmet for two young dynamic players it would look a lot better

Anyway biggest issue that’s been pointed out is our small forwards. Everything else can be looked through the lens of “goal kicking aside” but our smalls are ****ing useless, even in the Richmond game we dominated. Now with Freddy out it’s even more dire.

Hmmmm...wasn't that bad after the initial three howlers. Seems to do some dumb things ATM..but yes improving..his tackling was good in last qrter near the wing
